Hook, Line, Professor: A Professor/Student Forbidden Romance - Book One (Forbidden Desire Series) Paperback – 25 Nov. 2021

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this, it’s my favourite trope to read so I know I should at least like it but I genuinely loved it.It’s a bit of a slow burn but it worked really well and didn’t feel drawn out or boring at any point, it was just setting the scene with the perfect amount of angst and build up. Sure, some of the language used is cringy and it could have done with another edit for some typos but neither of those things detract from the story of the book and the characters who you grow to love.Genuinely a must read book for anybody who is a fan of this trope or just a romance with some build up and heat. 🌶️🌶️

Yet again Miss Shayla Hart has out done herself with another INCREDIBLE book, granted the end had me screaming at my ipad because I never expected it to end like that but I finished this book in one night I thought I'd read a little before going to sleep boy was I wrong the moment I started the first 2 parts of the book title took over HOOK LINED BESOTTED, talon an reins story is just so captivating an enthralling that you can't help but fall in love with them both from the moment they first kiss to everything else they enchant you I cant wait to see where part 2 leads us an again shayla thank you for writing such an incredible story you have incredible talent and deserve all the recognition you are gettingA***************

This isn’t a naughty quickie. The mmc and fmc have interesting back stories. You will scream and shout for them to get to the spicy bit and I hope that will ramp up in book 2. The longing between them though is just so heart melting

WOW OH WOW.I couldn't put this book down. It was incredible from start to finish. It's been a while since I've read a professor / student romance, and this reminded me exactly why I loved the taboo romance trope in the first place.I absolutely loved everything, the characters, the story, the chemistry between these two characters, the sideline characters, the build up to the steam... Oh, the build up. I read it within two days (would have finished sooner if it wasn't for work)!I was gutted when I finished especially with the cliffhanger! Because wow, what a book, what a cliffhanger. I need to know the rest of the story.Shayla, it was incredible! I seriously can't wait for part two!!This is a definite must read!!!

Love a professor/ student book. I loved this book so much. Professor saxton wow they way he talks to her 😜🙊 you can tell he had feelings for her but he doesnt want to loose his job. Rein has absolutely fallen for him, love her quick back chat and answers. My heart at the end bet she was so scared bet if felt like it was happenings all over again..Hurry up book two cant leave me with that cliffhanger for to long

I love reading but I don't easily find a book that can keep me interested till the end of the book but this book is something AMAZING. I've finished the book in 3 days just because I have kids, if not I would have finished in a day. I couldn't stop reading. It's so well written that it's impossible to get tired of reading. I felt totally immersed in the story. LOVE IT!! Can't wait for part 2 !

I just happened to stumble across this gorgeous read and I am so glad that I decided to give it a go…Talon the hot as hell professor and Rein the undeniably gorgeous, sassy student, a forbidden relationship, scenes that literally have you hot under the collar and with all this combined it makes for a hell of a read, loved every second. Can’t wait for part two.

I love a good taboo relationship and this one has me hooked. I did think the slow burn was a little too slow for me. However, seeing that it is a series, it may be the right tempo for some people.

I read this book in 2 days, I couldn’t put it down! It was 2:30am when I realized what time it was and hated that I had to go to sleep and continue it tomorrow lol. It was so good, I just ordered part 2 and can’t wait to start that!

Age gap, forbidden professor student, and a man who knows how to talk dirty? Sign me up. Good story and thank goodness book 2 is out bc the cliffhanger!!!!!

It’s a really great book, I enjoyed the storyline- the will they/won’t they and tonnes of sexual tension thrown in make for a bumpy journey.Their back stories are honestly so sad and traumatic.The steamy scenes are written with such detail and are honestly hot AF.Overall a fantastic book, that cliff hanger ending was brutal- can’t wait to read more of this series

Honestly, amazing is an understatement. This book kept me so hooked (pun intended) that I finished it all in 1 day. I absolutely can not wait for the second part! The cliffhanger at the end will have to begging the author to write faster!Author if you are reading this just know that I am definitely going to try to wait patiently for February to be here, but I already have the date marked in red on my calendar!

I loved the book 1,000% I've read all 3 more then once! I really wish the paperback and hard cover was the same photo as the Kindle one its so much more sexier. I cant wait to read more of her books!
