it is hard to write a review on vitamins which I have taken for a long time. they are good for you, adds what may be needed for your body to function. There is no taste, easy to swallow and does not upset my stomach, Aso, the price is a good amount.

For such an important vitamin for our health, it sure is getting hard to come by in the stores lately. Often dubbed the "anti-cancer vitamin," it is so vital to our immune system, the health of the skin and gums. I stopped taking it for awhile and did not feel as healthy. My ACNE even returned. I really like Spring Valley supplements they are a good value and excellent quality.

This is the most marvelous stuff for DRY HAIR ! I pierce a capsule, squeeze the oil onto my fingers then run it through my hair, it is not too oily just does a perfect job & unlike those moisture products they sell this Vitamin A capsule lasts, even if you shampoo after applying it the moisture will stay in your hair ! But you can also just apply the oil & proceed to style your hair without washing it. It has to be this Vitamin A, I tried Vitamin E it was way too heavy, I don t know about Vitamin D, usually I ingest those to keep my level of D high. Try this Vit A on your dry hair it is marvelous !

I'm 2 years post-op on a Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. I grew tired of paying high dollars for the "specially formulated" gastric bypass multivitamins out there. So I proceeded to replace those vitamins with normal vitamins, ensuring that I consumed the same quantities of the same substances. After 2 months on the new (waaaay cheaper) vitamins, I had my annual blood tests to ensure my vitamin levels were good. They were all well within range! So the replacements are working just as effectively at about 1/3 the cost of the "special" vitamins. This Spring Valley Vitamin A was among my replacement vitamins. It seems to be doing its job well!

Had not been able to locate in local stores. Finally decided to just order all my vitamins through the website. Now I have at least a 6 month supply. And it's a brand I purchase for my other supplements.

My mom (the RN) told me that Vitamin A might help prevent my frequent canker sores (note: these are little ulcers inside of the mouth, not to be confused with herpes sores on the mouth). I have been taking 2 every night for a couple of months, and I have gotten a couple of minor canker sores, but they went away very quickly. Spicy and acidic foods usually trigger the canker sores for me, and I have certainly had quite a bit of both in the months since I started taking Vitamin A. I count that as a win.
