Polaroid IPB-117 Alarm Clock AM/FM Radio with 30-Pin iPod & iPhone 1,3 & 4 Docking Station (Classic Style, No Lightning Connector)

Love this radio. I have an old iphone that I use as an ipod. It has all my music playlists, so I got this for work. It plays music silent enough where it doesn't bother those around me, but I am able to listen to what I want all day with no commercial interruptions. I am not sure how well the radio sounds because I never listen to it, but through my iphone, it sounds great. I love the different attachments it has so you can use this with all older variations of products that they list you can use it with. Easy to program and easy to use!

Wanted am fm alarm radio, bought this one which works ok.Biggest problem is that the LED is way too bright.There is a control switch for this, bit even the low setting is too brigjt, lites up the whole room.

We use the unit to play white noise for our toddler. The old iPod touch fits great with the included dock insert. The unit has better stereo sound than what we were using previously (thanks, H, for breaking the old one!) Compact size and simple design. Oh and the price for all this is great, too. Only caviat is the iPod sticks out unprotected. I'm sure we can deal with it. Very happy.

Great product for a great price! Nice compact size goes anywhere. The sound quality is amazing. I am quite picky when it comes to music and have a very expensive stereo/sound system for vinyl and cd's, but for portable digital tunes, this product cannot be beat! This is truly one of my best finds and I couldn't be more pleased with its performance.

I was worried about this working with my old Ipod that my nephew gave me. It has a bunch of different size of slots so I was able to find one that fit mine. Works great. After reading the instructions (they could try and make them a little bigger) I was able to get everything working. I mainly wanted it so I could wake to the music I like. I can't get any country stations around where I live.

Ipod hooks up to it fine and that's kind of where the positives end. The buttons are clunky and do not always engage, found myself hitting the stupid thing to try and turn it on/off. The sound was decent but the functionality of the alarm clock itself just isn't there. Spend a little more money for some better quality.

It's less of a shock to the body awaking to music whether it be from your ipod, am/fm, and I am not sure if the older iphones have a 30 pin. You can get an adapter that is 30 pin female to lightning so you can use it with this polaroid stereo. Sounds great is says radio but its rich sound sounds stereo.

This clock radio gets the job done. It has several docks for various types of iPod and/or iPhones. As other reviewers have mentioned, the speakers have a tinny sound/vibration to them above a certain volume. We found that 5 is a good volume, but louder than that and the sound quality is shot.
