I bought this book on the basis of a NYTs review. The young reader must not have read the review as he spent most of the time chewing the corner of the book.

I reeeeally wanted to love this. My 6 year and me absolutely love seek and find books so I thought this would make a good Christmas gift this year. But it's definitely not what I had hoped for. There are only a few items to find on each page and it's like x17 or x20. That's way too many of 1 thing to try and keep up with without drawing in your book. And most books fanatics do NOT like drawing in books because we like to pass on our used books. So that's a bummer. Not to mention... some of the items are hidden under the pop up parts which is just ridiculous. Almost impossible to see. Also, it's confusing because one page has a photo of a piece of money. You are to find 18 or so. Some of the money had a stack with 2 blocks of money. So we counted that as 2. Well, as we kept searching we were finding more than 18.... so that threw us off. It just is poorly executed. Especially for the amount of money they want. The concept is great but it needs more work.
