Size matters
This product saved my grandsons summer. He will be in a cast for 8 to 10 weeks. I bought this with no expectations. Amazingly it works great! I would recommend making sure to get the size correct for comfort. Tried it in the shower first and passed. Next we tried the pool and it was submerged for 30 minutes and when it was taken off cast was dry. I give this product a 5 star rating

Save a vacation
This saved our vacation in Cancun. Kept the wound completely dry every time used. Highly recommend. Dr didn't know this was available. She said to stay out of pool completely.

DON’T RECOMMEND
My 7yr old grand daughter broke her leg during the summer. She wore this one time, and it leaked fast.I know cast water doesn’t mix, but I was trying to make her summer the best as I could. Plus, have to beat the heat here in TX in July.DON’T RECOMMEND IT!!!

Only works if COMPLETELY submerged to release air.
I like it but I don't love it. It is by no way fool proof. My 3.5yr son broke his leg and we used the cover for bath time only. We didn't get all the air out of it the first time and got water in the cast the first bath. Im also not sure I would trust this in a place like the ocean. Its too easily moved. In order to get all the air out, we had to find a bucket big enough for him to submerge his leg into and get the air out that way. Otherwise there was no way to use it properly. He wouldn't stay still to "squeeze" the air out manually (although, Im not entirely convinced that would have worked either)Once the air was out, it holds tight. no leaking even with splashing around in the tub.So, my finally thoughts are IF you are able to submerge the body part with the cover on completely, this is a great cover for the cast. If your not, this will be a waste of money.

Great Purchase
2 year old broke her leg before vacation and this was perfect. We were skeptical that it would work but tried because of the reviews. Here to say it does indeed work and was a life saver at Great Wolf Lodge! The cast didn’t get wet one time with all of the crawling and moving around in the water and on slides! You should measure before purchasing to ensure the size is correct.

Love, but sizing not correct.
To make a long story short, my daughter broke her ankle at the beginning of summer, and because I still wanted her to enjoy the summer we decided to try this based on a recommendation. After this product was recommended to us I went on and started looking. I found this and followed the sizing guide to a T. My hubby and I felt confident this was going to work. After unboxing, I still felt good about it. Because of the material I knew it would be a little bit of a struggle to get over the cast which of course it was. Here is where things went south. The material itself is great, however toward the top becomes very thin and almost feels like it could break. The worst part though was with the fit. It states to measure from bottom of foot to just above the cast (which we did). However when we put it on our daughter it literally sits just above the cast and so when she moves it starts to roll or shift and it becomes too small. At first you think it’s going to fit great it seals nice to leg, but after a few leg movements it is now down to the cast. Not to mention that we had to pull up on it so much that it was squeezing her toes at the bottom. I should mention that her cast is from toes to just below her knee.I guess I said all of that, to say this. When measuring, I would go well above the cast (like 5 inches) and then do the measurement around the leg itself. I would have much rather of had it a little big instead of so tight that it allowed for no movement. Looking back we would have made the protector go above the knee.I am not saying don’t buy the product, I would just be sure you give some wiggle room for the length of the protector.
