Prongs are Too Long, Even For Correct Model
Glad the package came with two as after purchasing, I found reviews that are very accurate regarding the little prongs that hit the sensor buttons are way to big/long. You have to trim off about 3 mm in order for the button to work accurately. The first set I trimmed to much off after not doing enough after the first attempt. However, much better fix than taking toa repair shop or getting a new controller.

Perfect replacement - as long as your controller is the correct model
This bumper assembly is a virtually identical replacement for my OEM Microsoft Xbox One model 1697 controller. Installation was a breeze and it works flawlessly. Based on several other reviewers that have reported issues with their own installations, I want to emphasize the importance of identifying your generation of controller to ensure this will be compatible. There is a Wikipedia article that explains the differences between versions - just search "Xbox One Controller" and scroll down to see the chart. This product is designed to replace the bumper assembly on 1697 and 1698 "Elite" controllers (identified by the presence of the 3.5mm headphone jack and a lack of Bluetooth capability). First generation Xbox One controllers (model 1537 without the 3.5mm headphone jack) use a completely different bumper design, as do the newer Xbox One S (1708) controllers. As such, it will not work on these models. As long as you ensure that this product will work on your specific controller, it is the best value on Amazon as of this writing - you get two sets of bumpers for just over $5. Highly recommended. The uploaded comparison image shows the OEM bumper assembly (damaged - top) compared to the new replacement one (this product - bottom).

Cheap fix with a little DIY
For me, these were not drop-in replacements for my Xbox One controller (model 1697). It needed a little careful sanding to make it fit well so that the buttons feel good. If you don't mind a little extra DIY, then these are good and cheap replacement bumpers to get your controller working again. The color is a little bit off from the original, a little more faded, but not so much that it's super noticeable. The gaps after installation are also a bit uneven, but they function fine.

Better than spending another $60 on a new controller.
Not a bad product. Came fine and neither wee broken. The install wasn't bad. There ate plenty of you tube video's out there to show you how. If you are going to be super picky about it, the color is the most slightest of shades off from the original, but unless you are OCD, who cares. If you think it will bother you that much, just order buttons with a completely different color or spend the money on a new controller. They seem to work okay so far. Then again, if there is any issue, other than breaking, you have to question if it was your install or the product itself. So far not seeing much of an issue. If you don't have the tools, I would suggest getting a kit with the screw drivers included or spend the money on a set of precision screw drivers. They are useful to have around, especially if you do things like this.

Fixed a broken bumper
My Xbox One has been around a while and I had managed to snap one of the bumpers. After looking up a video on how to take the controller apart, I hunted for one of these bumper replacements. They drop in no problem and are almost hard to tell that it isn't the original. Should any other bumpers break on other controllers, I would definitely buy them again!

Easy to install, break just as easily as the originals.
These are a direct replacement for the original bumpers on the 360 gen ii controller, or the elite controller.Honestly, these aren't the easiest things to get in, but if you are at all mechanically inclined you can watch a YouTube video and do it with no problem. The biggest problem is that they're flimsy, and break easily ... which is why you're here thinking about buying some, right? It's why they come in a 2 pack too. So, yes, durability sucks, but that's inherent to the design on the controller, and not the fault of this part manufacturer.Truth is, if you broke your first bumpers, you'll break these too, but at least you haven't options.

Not a Perfect Fit
The first thing you need to know about this repair is that the controller design for this particular job is pretty awful, thanks to Microsoft. Installation is a pain and the bumpers are connected by this flimsy thin piece of plastic in the middle that has to be just so or else it doesn't work (one or both of the shoulders will jam). Now add in the hassle of a knock off part that is nearly identical but about 1% off and you have a headache on your hands.Having said that, I can't complain too much for the price. No matter how I tried, I couldn't get the repair to work as the left side kept jamming and the button would remain stuck down. My solution was I actually ended up cutting the OEM part in half down the middle using my original left bumper and the new knock-off right bumper. I just taped them in the middle. This does mean you have to void your warranty to complete the repair but it worked.PRO TIP: insert the bumpers into your controller first before adding the mid-plate that it snaps into. It's excruciatingly difficult if not impossible to get the whole assembly on at once, even though it seems like this is supposed to be how the install works. I definitely blame Microsoft for this janky repair process. Good luck! You'll need it.

1968 Elite controller
This worked perfect to fix my old silver bumpers as the old ones snapped in the middle somehow by playing rocket league(Boost Button). These are a little louder when being pressed but it doesn't bother me.

Frustrating but 3rd times a charm
I have a 3rd replacement coming because the first set didn't fit or work, the 2nd set one fit and worked and the other one didn't. Thanks to Amazon for taking care of me they're amazing! Hopefully the 3rd set will fit and work properly. Its not that the product is so bad it's just their quality control that needs to be tweaked.Got the 3rd set today and they worked! It took a little work based on another review to get them to work but they did!

This part worked for a model 1698 eite controller
In the end, seller responded promptly to my questions and the part fit perfectly in my model 1698 elite controller. However, the journey to this outcome was not so easy. Parts arrived as described and promised. Disassembled the controller, replaced the bumpers, reassembled the bumpers and...jammed on the respective triggers...hmmm. Spoke to vendor, sent pictures...glued old bumpers and tried to reassemble the bumpers...jamming in the same spot. The problem was the tabs on the bumpers need to perfectly slot in to their resting place otherwise they will jam on the respective trigger. Once this detail was sorted out, the bumpers aligned...no more jamming, bumper trigger action back...reassembled the controller and off to the races. no sanding, no further modding required.

Works for 1697 model controller.
The protruding arms that push the bumper button are a bit too long and end up always pushing the button in. I just sanded the ends of these arms a little bit and it worked very well.
