I ordered size 8, it's a little snug and I want to be able to wear a sweater underneath, so I'm returning the size 8 and already placed another order for size 10

I purchased a Rex rabbit knitted fur coat about 10 years ago that I paid $3600 on a 20% discount and, considering the price, was expecting this item to most likely be a return. I had just received and returned a different style Fur Story rabbit coat. Same size as this one but the coat couldn't decide if it was a 12, a 14 or a 16. Too big in one area, too small in another and just right in yet another. The pelts were stiff, they were pieced together poorly in places and there were a number of little tiny white spots where the tips didn't get dyed. About what I had expected but with free shipping and returns it couldn't hurt to take a look. I have an outdoor winter wedding to attend in February so it's going to be freezing cold and there is every possibility that it will snow during the ceremony. Since the fur coat I own doesn't have a hood and is is a knitted, reversible coat, there is no skin and no lining to keep wind and precipitation out and this hooded coat would be the perfect solution, soooo here I am. This coat is the same size (14) all over and it fits nicely. The pelts are soft and flexible and seem to be pieced together fairly seamlessly. I haven't found any spots missing dye either. The one manufacturing defect that I did find is that from the front of the coat to almost center in the back, the hem on the left side is longer than on the right side. The edge of the pelt is a little uneven so it appears that the longer portion didn't get hemmed. I can fix this myself with some hemming by hand so I am going to keep the coat. The style isn't quite as fitted in the waist as it looks to me in the photos but it looks fine and overall it's a huge bargain for the price, unless it falls apart after wearing it a few times. I won't be shocked but I'm hoping for the best. For reference, their sizing chart is pretty accurate. I'm 5'3', weigh 155 lbs and am a 34 DDDDD . I usually wear a size 12 in coats and could have probably worn the size 12. The 14 is a tiny bit roomier than I'm used to but if this were a US size 14 it would have been way too big for me. The Asian manufacturers seem to always cut their "US sizes" smaller, sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. In the case of this item the size 12 would probably have been a little tighter than I would like. You may have to experience a few returns in order to get a coat that fits and is defect free but it doesn't cost anything to do the looking...

I can't believe how great this fur coat is! I got a size 4 and it fits perfectly even with a light sweater under it (I am 5'4" and 95 pounds). The length wasn't ideal, it hit at the knee so it wasn't quite a long fur nor a short fur, so with the extra 5 or so inches, I bought a leather sewing kit from Amazon and folded the bottom up 5 inches, sewed it at about 2.5 inches, then flapped the excess over and stitched that down by way of the lining. So it looks like added detail at the bottom that goes perfectly with the fluffy hood surround - it really balances it out! It looks like it came that way! Every time I wear it I get compliments! It's the softest thing EVER! It keeps me warm on these cold nights, I haven't been cold once in it (and I am ALWAYS cold!). God bless those little animals that went into it, and this great brand Fur Story... I am forever grateful.

I LOVE this real rabbit fur jacket. For those who are offended by animals being killed just for their fur, these rabbits were eaten as food and their hides used to make these jackets.Ok, first of all I never hardly ever write reviews but I had to on this jacket. DO NOT hesitate to buy this absolutely gorgeous jacket, the photos are incomparable to the real thing. The photos were taken in my bedroom with warm lighting with the curtains open to allow a diffusion of the light warm color you will see in the photos. They are not perfect but approximate the color. I bought the gray/white one in size 10 I wear a medium and I am 5’5” and weigh 130 pounds. It fit me perfectly. Asian sizes are smaller than US sizes so size up one or more depending on your weight.The colors are beautiful on this jacket, not only are the pieces crafted together seamlessly the colors and fur are indeed of superior quality and craftsmanship.It is not a thick jacket but is adequately perfect for fall and into the beginning of winter and beyond unless it’s extremely cold. I live in Tennessee so weather is milder here in winter but with a sweater of moderate warmth it could be possible to wear it in colder climates that’s just an opinion. Back to the fur is is different shades of gray,white,and a very light blonde brown that adds a little subtle warmth that makes the jacket good for all skin tones.This is a stunning jacket and worth much more than the cost. The lining is beautiful and high end quality. I wish I could put better photos up there is a warm cast but I didn’t want to alter photos. Overall it’s more cooler in tones. This is my personal review and my opinion only.
