$13? Oh. . . okay. . . . Dozens of uses later, I'd buy it again.
I'll admit, I felt silly paying $13 for camp utensils, but I am happy with the product. These were purchased specifically for my backpacking camping trips where regular sized (non-folding) utensils would not fit inside my cooking kit. These utensils fit neatly inside my camp pot, along with my gas can, portable stove, cleaning sponge and lighter. They are plastic and have a locking mechanism to hold them open while they are being used. There's a pinch point to release and fold back down to its storage position. Being plastic, I would not let them sit for long in a pan over a fire, but I have had no melting issues when using them to stir food in a pan or when mixing bubbling hot water into freeze dried food.I have yet to use them on 'harder' food like a thick steak, but I don't think there would be too much of an issue if you're not rough on them. They're still made of plastic, so they will flex while you use them, but you'd have to be pretty hard or careless on them to break them. Note: I have not used them in really cold winter conditions, so I can't speak on whether or not brittleness ever comes into play.Approximate Dimensions:Fork Extended Length: 203 mm (8")Fork Folded Length: 111 mm (4 & 3/8")Fork Width: 25.5 mm (1") at widest pointSpoon Extended Length: 204 mm (8 & 1/16")Spoon Folded Length: 111.5 mm (4 & 3/8")Spoon Width: 38 mm (1 & 1/2") at widest pointWeight: No idea - don't have a scale sensitive enough to measure

My new go to utensils.
I was hesitant to purchase these but the price was ok for me to gamble on them. I was pleasantly surprised by them. My got to set was the telescoping Jetboil utensils but these are becoming my favorites. I wish that MSR would make a cooking set, serving spoon and spatula, in this size. They extend easily and they actually lock in place. I’ve never had an issue with them folding while using like so many other designs. While folded, they are compact enough and when extended, they long enough. Just long enough to reach into a dehydrated meal pouch. What I really like best, is that they are easy to clean. No grooves or channels to clean and you don’t have to separate the pIeces to scrub them.So far, cooking with them, they’ve held up well.

These are nice items and work well and fold easily
What does one say about 'tableware'? These are nice items and work well and fold easily, especially for backpacking and hiking. I give them to some of our Scouts who are hard-working and eager to help others on trips and trails.

Great utensils for backpacking
I love these! I can store them in my cooking set because of how they fold down. They are light weight. And they are sturdy enough to get the job done.Easy review to give. If you are deciding, then stop. Hit the buy button. For reference, I am an avid section hiker on the Appalachian Trail. I do not travel as light as others, but I have been working to reduce weight. That is the primary reason I purchased these.

Lightweight, durable, perfect for camping
These are very lightweight and pretty durable. Like these over the non foldable ones since I can fold these and they'll fit inside my pot with my stove. So everything is stored together.

Great Spoon and Fork Combo!
On April 24, 2015, I recived the MSR spoons and forks that I ordered. I recently used them for a backpacking trip to Mt. San Jacinto. They are made of a high quality light weight plastic. They performed beautifuly on my trip and despite their light weight construction you can eat comfortably. In my experience all MSR Products are top quality. I would highly recommend this product.

Small Folding Utensil set
This set is small and lightweight. They are slightly flimsy but work great with a gentle touch and are really compact. They fold small enough to fit inside the MSR Trail Lite Duo System cups for an even smaller system.

If the price is right, get it.
Bought this set to replace an older one for over night camping. They are very light and made decently. The opening and closing of the utensils can be a bit of a pain (especially for younger campers). They were sturdy enough to eat with even though at times I felt like I would snap them if too much pressure was exerted. I will continue to use them but will try out other brands for future purchases.
