Gigaset A694HX - Cordless DECT Telephone - Additional Handset - High Contrast Display - Great Audio Quality, Black [UK Version] [Without Base]

Purchased to add an additional handset to my existing Gigaset C595 Base station as the original specification is no longer available. The handset registered seamlessly to the base station. The only difference I have noticed is that the display is permanently visible which does not affect the performance. Very reasonably priced with the excellent Amazon Prime speedy delivery.

Good solid DECT handset. Is well presented, and easy to setup. Paired it (initially) with my Fritz box DECT hub, which was easy and it works well. Currently I have a SIPP setup on the box and it looks like when I get switched to digital 'phone I will be able to choose which line I use - in or out.I would recommend, especially at this price

A good quality Dect compatible phone. Easily added to an existing base unit donkeys years old. Very happy. Good range and good value item

I ned to return this

We needed to replace one of our set of 3 Gigaset phones but they aren’t made anymore. Phoned Siemens Customer Services for help with finding a compatible model that would work with our set but the assistant wasn’t able to identify anything suitable and didn’t offer any alternatives or solutions. A couple of the single handsets on Amazon said they could be used along with existing phone set, so ordered this to try. So far so good, have set it up, tried calling our landline and this phone works, rings and hasn’t stopped the existing phones working. Haven’t tried any of its features yet and don’t know how many of them will work, but we have never worked out how or needed to use most of the features on the other Gigaset phones anyway.
