Worth the Price
This item is expensive but worth the price.Have one on each panel in home. Live in hurricane area and have never had a surge related failure in home

Why pay expensive serivce calls for zapped electronics?
Added when I installed a new electronic washer and dryer. My electronic dishwasher is safer now too.NOTE: does not pass home automation signals as it cleans up the noise too well. Get a cheaper model for lower noise attenuation.Needs to wire to two 120V breakers as close to the protector as possible.The $500 spent here is great insurance that you will not need an expensive service call because of fried electronics. You TV, DVR, computers, microwave, refrigerator, etc. will all be protected.

Saved our system
Easy to install. This one replaced the one we had. Burnt up the other one when we plugged the boat into the dock in Bahamas and got a nasty power surge. Doesn't appear to have been any damage to anything on the boat.
