This was used as a display case for a retired coworker showcasing his accomplishments- pins, medallions, service awards, etc. Worked beautifully, used short pins and double sided gorilla glue to hold items in place

This is nice. I bought it to build a T-scale model train layout. T-scale trains are tiny (*really* tiny and relatively fragile), so an entire layout including an oval track going through a tunnel, landscaping, and all the cool stuff can fit inside this shadow box. My plan is to hang the layout (with the train removed to keep it safe) on the wall when not in use, and then be able to take it down, open the hinged lid, and run my train. This frame is going to let me have a model train layout (and the fun of building it) without having to devote my limited horizontal space to displaying the layout all the time. The frame is sturdy enough, arrived well-packed (with a piece of hardboard cut to size to help protect the glass during shipment--which I plan to repurpose as the base of my layout), has good hinges on the lid, will protect everything from dust, and is just what I was hoping for.

I wish it was deeper. But it's cute
