Fitness Reality R4000 Magnetic Tension Recumbent Bike with Workout Goal Setting Computer

Seems great so far only put it together today, some reviews are about the tension not being easy to assemble and others about needing 2 people....personally I think those people having problems don’t have a super mechanically inclined son to do it for them. It works as it should! I am getting ready for knee surgery and rehab after. Works well, easy to assemble with some mechanical knowledge and ability. Tools provided!!! Great bike for the price!!

I am very pleased with this bike. It's a great price, easy to put together and I am getting a good workout. I did need my husbands help when assembling only bc it helped to have a second pair of hands to hold things while I screwed them in. It's solid and sturdy. Not fancy but gets the job done!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this exercise bike. My wife needs it to rehab after some heart issues and it works just great for her. The ultra-low step through design is really helpful. In addition having a seat back lets her work out in more comfort.The bike was packed well. The instruction book is reasonably clear. Assembly went fairly easily. To unbox and unwrap the bike parts, to fully assemble them, and to throw the packing stuff away took a total of about two hours. I think the people who say they did everything in one hour are underestimating actual time. It's nice to have tools included, but I used my own which are more robust.Bottom line - I don't think you can beat this exercise bike for the money. It's really pretty good.Edit: I have reduced the rating to 4 stars. We have had this 10 months with very moderate use and the bike computer has failed. It sometimes works, but most of the time does not. I don't care about calories, etc., but it's pretty frustrating not to know miles ridden.

This bike was very easy to put together by myself, I did it in about an hour. Instructions are easy to follow, no parts were missing or broken. Everything looks great and works well. I purchased this bike based on a recommendation for user height, I'm 5'2 and other bikes are for users over 5'4 and above, this one was for 5 foot to 6'3, I didn't want to be straining to sit comfortably in the seat to reach the peddles. I really like the simple features- distance, time and speed and it has a cup holder. I'm pretty happy with my purchase and hope to bike many miles with it!

I bought this to workout in a secondary location. I have a somewhat more expensive, but not fancy, recumbent bike. I didn't want to spend a lot for this unit. This is a good looking bike. Description and reviews suggested that it would work fine for my height, 6'0". It DOES NOT. I'd say the top end would be 5'10", unless you like being cramped on a bike. The seat is padded, but it is very hard, and my right butt cheek hurt both times I used the bike. Adding to the troubles, the action on pedaling is not smooth. Pretty uneven. It may have been a defective unit, but I didn't have the time to do a ton of trouble shooting. Did some obvious checks using the online help tool to no avail. The dial used to control tension was not easy to rotate, nor did it provide a good feel for changing pedaling difficulty. There was no way that I could live with this for any length of time. If you decide to buy this bike anyway, I found it took the better part of an afternoon to assemble. Nuts and bolts were already installed on parts that needed to be put on the bike, which reduces a lot of confusion as to what goes where. But all in all, if you are going to be a reasonably active biker like I am, it is worth doubling the price to get something better. My other bike now costs $500 because everything has gone up. 6 or 7 years ago it could be had for $275.

This recumbent bike is as close to perfect as it gets - for me, at least. I am 5'1" and was concerned about the fit, but it's great, and will also adjust for my 6ft husband if he wants to use it. I was also concerned about being able to put it together, but that went like a dream. The bike is almost completely quiet while in use; the display is informative and easy to read; and my iPhone fits into the tablet holder. Unexpected bonuses to me are the ease of step-through design and water bottle holder. The tension adjustment gives me plenty of options. I am so glad I took a chance and ordered this bike.

Haven't used it much yet, but seems well made. Got it at a "sale" price on Amazon, price fluctuations are amazing. Will try to update after more use.UPDATE: It is well made and I did get a good price, but doesn't adjust enough for my 6'2" length. I can't extend my legs far enough to be efficient or comfortable. Took away 1 star

Just received this bike and wish I could give it ten stars. Took no time at all to get set up, all tools are included and the instructions are simple and easy to follow so if you can manage a screw driver and a simple wrench there's nothing to it. The tension settings are great as are all of the other settings and the bike is light weight and easy to move if necessary but it doesn't "travel" around the floor while you're using it. I bought this at the suggestion of a physical therapist for low back pain but am looking forward to it being a benefit for weight loss as well. Also fabulous service, arrived well before expected. Thumbs up all the way around.

Über die prompte Lieferung war ich positiv überrascht. Der Aufbau ist echt einfach, wenn man sich an die Vorgaben hält. Ein Schritt nach dem anderen, und man ist ratzfatz fertig. Man kann den Aufbau alleine schaffen, aber eine dritte Hand hier und da zum Festhalten ist wünschenswert. Die Größe ist ideal auch für kleine Wohnungen. Trotzdem stabil, und man sitzt sehr sicher beim fahren. Die Polster von Sitz und Lehne sind angenehm weich und ausreichend groß. Praktisch ist auch der niedriger Einstieg. Das Gerät läuft super leise. Während des Trainings stört man niemanden, weder zu Hause noch die Nachbarn. Die Anzeige hat alles was man braucht, nur mir persönlich fehlt ein Pulsmesser. Aber den bekommt man ja überall zu kaufen. Dieses Gerät macht sehr viel Freude, sowohl beim Einkauf, da der Preis mehr als angemessen ist, als auch beim unkomplizierten Aufbau und anschließend bei der Benutzung sowieso 😁 Der einzige Haken bei diesem wie auch bei allen anderen Fitnessgeräten ist, seinen inneren Schweinehund zu überwinden und mit dem Training loszulegen 😉 Nachtrag: bei längerer Benutzung fällt jetzt auf, dass der Sitz sich leider nicht richtig feststellen lässt. Auch wenn die Schraube "fest" ist, rutscht der Sitz (gaaaaaanz langsam) immer wieder auf der Schiene nach unten (besonders bei schwereren Personen) und muss immer wieder hochgeschoben werden.

I purchased this exercise bike because I am waiting for a hip operation and would not be able to ride a normal one because of the saddle.Well I am very pleased with it the seat is comfortable and the action is very smooth and the information feedback is very good. Due to me hip mobility is very pour and it has helped greatly in keeping movement in my legs.

Nutze das Teil jetzt seit einigen Wochen und finds echt gut. Aufbau war entspannt, die Funktionen des (zwar eher rudimentären) Computers sind okay (würde mir z.B. wünschen, ich könnte Kilometerziele nicht in 100-Meter sondern auch in 1-Kilometer-Schritten einstellen, aber geht noch), die 14 Stufen sind gut (hab als untrainierte Person bei Stufe 6 angefangen und bin jetzt bei Stufe 7) find ich gut und auch das "Feeling" des Geräts ist durchweg hochwertig (für den Preis allemal!) Die stufenlose Verstellmöglichkeit des Sitzabstandes ist auch klasse (da meine Freundin und ich beide das Ding benutzen. Haben uns jeweils eigene Marken geklebt, so hat jede/r seine Position gleich wieder). Einzige Kritikpunkt beträfe die Sattelhärte, die mir nach 45 Min. ein bisschen zu hart wird. Aber auch das geht in Ordnung - wenn ichs bequem haben will, sitz ich mich in den Sessel. Empfehlung für untrainierte Sportmuffel, die mal bisschen was machen wollen.
