I recommend the product with caveats
Free lift gate shipping! Great for starters, even though the "THIS END UP" arrow was horizontal and the box was really smushed. Got it into the garage. Life intervened. It sat there for 5 months. Finally, after summer heat subsided, I got ambitious, ripped the box open and started carrying the smaller pieces inside. The instructions are good! Read them! Two metric Allen wrenches are included, but you will need more than those. A couple of metric sockets and hex keys on a ratchet wrench plus a small adjustable wrench will be needed. Two people really are needed as well, although I did manage to get it inside and assembled solo. I'm 62 , 6 ft tall, 220 pounds, not in the best shape, bad back, yet I managed with a motorcycle lift and two furniture dollys. But it is heavy, so don't take chances.Using it... I had to go to the machine's website and register for the warranty, then go to the Ifit website to activate the machine. The nifty LCD screen wont work until Ifit activates it. Ifit wants you to subscribe for their training programs and machine activation. I'm not interested in an on going subscription, but I subscribed for about 15 minutes then cancelled.Soon after, my machine activated, so give yours time. If not support is available. After activation, mine turns on when I get on board and start striding. This thing is a beast! No impact (good for blown low back discs) but the workout is surprising in how much of your body is involved. Legs, pelvic area, low 3core, I'm staying on low resistance, low incline for now.Pros: well made and solid. Gives me the workout I need. Low or no impact, smooth as greased glass. So far, good value for what I paid.Cons: Number 1 : If you are not pretty good with tools, and have a few basic tools to work with, assembly may be challenging for some. Impossible for others without assistance. You will not assemble this with just the included tools.Number 2. Activation! I work with computers, electronics , and a lot more every day. If I have trouble with getting this to activate so that the LCD screen and functions are available, it is likely that others will also have issues.3: After I pay 500 bucks, which includes liift gate service, the box which is strapped to a wooden pallet should have the "THIS SIDE UP" arrow pointing up!

Fantastic machine! I love it.
I’ve been working out on ellipticals in gyms for the past 20+ years, so I’m used to gym quality machines. I’m really picky, and I wanted something quiet and sturdy. I researched every option available under a grand, and this was the one I kept coming back to. The assembly was about what you’d expect for a machine this big. Much of it was already assembled. I think it took about 20 minutes to put together. It is very heavy, so it’s not something that you can move around very easily. The plus side of that is that it’s made of really high quality materials, and I don’t see it breaking any time soon. I’ve had it for about two months now. It doesn’t make any noise (squeaking wise). It works flawlessly. The stride is smooth, both backwards and forwards. The one thing I’d recommend is what others have said about bypassing the iFit setup. I can’t see anyone being disappointed with this elliptical unless it was flawed somehow during the manufacturing process.

Great machine!
We both really like this machine. We have been using it since June. The packaging was good and assembly was very straight forward. If you don't have a driver of some sort with hex bits and a rachet, it will be more challenging. Be careful because it's very heavy. Build it where you'll use it.As others have said, I didn't like the iFit tie in as aggressive as they did it. But, there is an easy way around it and we haven't had any trouble from that. It's no reason not to get the machine. We use a cheap 10inch tablet with the BitGym app and it's a really cool combo.Oh course it's not a perfect machine at this price. The plastic covers are sort of loose and sometimes make a little noise. I suggest not putting on the covers until you've ridden it for a few months and have tightened everything a few times. The tabs break pretty easy when taken off repeatedly. Knockoff magic erasers are a great space filler for stopping loose rattles, one you put them on. The main culprit we have had are the bolts that mount the step bar to the wheel bar. That single bolt will loosen and create a knock sound on rotation, sounds like it's coming from the wheel. I put a small amount of blue locktite on them and that seems to have fixed it. The heart rate monitor is just ok. The water bottle holder is not in the best place. The speakers are just ok. I have ours on a wood floor, it's super stable...I have really chugged some 'hills' and it's very solid. Make sure to use the middle leveler as well as the ends. The computer is easy to read and use once you learn the menus. So far it's been a very stable, solid product with a few annoyances. I expected that at this price range, and I would buy it again. It was a good purchase, and you get a great workout.

Good home Elliptical
This is my first home elliptical. I've been wanting something to use at home vs going to the gym. So far I'm happy with it. I was able to put it together myself in about 2.5 hours. Directions are easy to understand. Parts are packaged good. It arrived in a big box on a pallet that the shipping company used a lift gate to lower. As of now it makes little to no noise when using. Seems sturdy. Display is easy to understand. I tried ifit program. Its ok but don't want to pay monthly fee to use. Has nice holder for my tablet to use. I would recommend if looking for a basic elliptical that gives you a decent workout.

Worked well for 3 months, no word from customer service
I purchased this elliptical in late October 2020. It worked well for the price - good resistance, easy to adjust, nice features, wobbled a bit at high RPM (over 65) and high resistance. However, in February it developed a squeak somewhere in the system. I've use the included lubricant on all exposed joints, to no avail. I contacted customer service and sent a video of the squeaking, but haven't heard anything in 3 weeks. It's still under warranty and the 2 times I've tried to call customer service, I sat on home for over 45 minutes before hanging up. If customer service will reach out to me and help me resolve the issue, I'd be thrilled - but for now, I'm extremely disappointed.
