The media could not be loaded.  So the instructions that come with these are not the best. I bought these a year ago, thought I followed the instructions, and concluded that they were useless as I watched the voles steal my veggies and bulbs, cartoon style, into the depths of the earth. So I removed them at the end of the growing season 2022 and tossed them in the garage.May 2023 comes around, the voles are wrecking absolute havoc in my garden. Dozens of tunnels and holes EVERYWHERE. Dahlias, lilies, pepper plants, all being mercilessly snatched right under my nose. After watching a marigold (which is *supposed* to deter them) violently shake and disappear into the earth in broad daylight, I decided to dust these off and try again.There were so many five star reviews that I knew I must be missing something, so I scoured the reviews and realized that I never plugged in the wire inside the stake. I’m not sure if I just totally overlooked it last year, or if they recently added the graphic showing this on the Amazon listing. Some people in the reviews said they struggled to connect the wires, so I included an easier way to do that as well in my video.Because they still had the charge from last year, I immediately started hearing the subtle vibrating “whining” noise that you should hear every 25-30 seconds after connecting the wires. There is a clip at the end of the video to show you what it should sound like.It took a few days of them being on, but the voles have definitely been leaving my garden since properly installing. It’s working so well that I ordered two more!1. Follow the steps in the first half of the video to put the stake together. Do not turn it on at this time.2. Let it sit in a sunny spot outside for two days.3. Dig the hole for it, place it in the ground.4. Turn it on by pressing the button underneath. If the tip of the button feels hard to the touch, it is off. If it feels softer, it is on. After turning on, you should hear a “whining,” vibrating noise every 25-30 seconds.5. Enjoy your garden—VOLE FREE!!!

So far, so good. Looks like my hostas are starting to grow back from where the groundhog was eating them.

Easy to assemble, separate all 3 pieces, pull the wire out of the spiked end, run it through the opened-end body, then attach to connector on the top piece. You'll need an auger (or similar) to install, don't push into the ground too hard or may break (plastic). Seems to be working at moving the moles, just remember to initially place near your house, then gradually move them farther into the yard as you notice lack of activity near the repellant spikes, eventually forces moles off your property. One thing to watch, the top is green and blends in with the grass, so you have to remember to pull the spikes out before mowing or you'll chop the tops off. With the $3 off coupon, worked out to less than $2.40 each, good deal.

I can’t say anything on how they work yet but I can comment on the assembly and poor instructions.They come in 2 pieces and they go together easy but be aware that there is a cable you beed to connect together before assembling. Its never mentioned in the instructions. Also there is a push button type switch that powers on and off. You can’t tell what is what, and your supposed to leave them off for 48 hours before operating. Good luck with that. I bought 2 boxes and it seems like 3 of 4 in each box work. The other 2 haven’t made any vibration or noise

The price on 4 of the Diaotec Mole Repellents Solar Powered Rodent Repeller was most compelling in my decision to purchase 3 (sets of 4). They were very easy to put together and I have charged them for two days. I have lost the war on these silent and damaging pests. I do not want to kill them, only make them relocate. The pic attached shows three solar powered rodent repellerrs with-in 75 feet of each other. I'll update to 5 stars in a couple weeks when (if) they work as promised. Awesome customer service from the seller!

We had moles tearing up our front yard for 2 years. I tried some other holistic attempts with no success. Having kids, a dog and well water, I didn't want to cover my property in chemicals. I used these and I haven't noticed any more mole hills (fingers crossed). So far so good!

This product works but the on/off switches are junk and need a better replacement.

Thought I would try these to stop a mole problem we were having all over our yard. Arrived quickly and packaged well. Had to assemble each one by connecting wire then screwing top to spike. Very easy. Put in ground and waited. Almost immediately the mole trail’s stopped. Left them in place and waited a few more days to make sure. Happy to say they were gone and have not returned. Very happy. Recommended to neighbor and bought a second set for me. For the price you can’t go wrong. Would buy again.

Nach dem Reindrehen der Schrauben würde ich sagen, dass die Halterung auch ein Nilpferd tragen kann. Da wackelt nichts.Insgesamt macht das Teil einen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck und besonders gefreut hat mich, dass Fischer Duoplast Dübel dabei waren.Bitte beachtet, dass ihr 10er Löcher bohren müsst, was bei einer Stahlbeton Decke eine Herausforderung sein kann. Auf der anderen Seite sind es nur 3 Löcher, was ein Vorteil ist.Für die Schrauben braucht ihr einen 30er Torx.Zur tatsächlichen Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, da der 50kg Boxsack noch dran muss.Bitte markiert die Bewertung als hilfreich, wenn sie euch geholfen hat. 😉
