Easy to install and use.Comes with all connectors and a 2din metal cage.I did have an issue whereby the unit stopped putting out audio after a few weeks , however the vendor was very communicative and the problem was resolved swiftly (it turns out to needed a firmware update).My favourite thing, I have this installed in a campervan, when the unit is powered off it shows the time in black and white with no bright/coloured lights which is great! Some other head units keep neon lights on etc which can be distracting to a light sleeper like myself!

I have tried various add on DAB units over the years but this is the best by far, A big bonus is that you only need the original car aerial , no additional stick on one , excellent. Good reception, plenty of volume and very easy to install, looks good , only downside is it seems to like smaller USB sticks for music , no big deal

Sound good on paper. However if you don't know about stereo installation, then not to bother. I had been looking for an adaptor as my car is quite old. Adaptor provided in package is not that easy to install unless you know what you are doing. I managed to install it in my Vauxhall Zafira after a lot of searching online, youtube and asking friends for advice. Got bluetooth connectivity which is great. The sound quality is not great unless you are in a populated area or where the reception is very good. I have to buy a Dab aerial as the one in my car is not. Installation is fairly easy once you know what you are doing. For half the price than buying a more expensive stereo. Is it worth the head ache, certainly not.

I'm using this not in a car but as a kitchen radio with a pair of existing 4 Ohm speakers from the Philips micro system it replaced, powered by a 12V 2A power supply (12V 1A wasn't quite powerful enough and 15V made the heatsink at the back of the unit very hot).First impressions were not overwhelmingly positive as it's a lightweight unit and the build quality is adequate but doesn't stand out. The manual makes up for it by being pretty comprehensive and very well translated. Wiring it up was very easy in my case, connect both yellow and red wires to the +12V supply and you're good to go, the rest is self explanatory.I had to cut down and get the metal sleeve off the aerial adaptor with a Dremel type rotary tool to get it to fit my existing ribbon aerial, but once this was done it's a decent fit and gets a good signal although I live only a mile away from a major FM/DAB transmitter which gives me an advantage.Sound quality is surprisingly good (and I'm fussy when it comes to SQ), much better than the aforementioned Philips which probably cost an awful lot more than £40 when it was new.Bluetooth is good with the buttons on the front of the unit to pause/play/skip, the range is lousy but considering it's designed for use in a car there are no grounds for complaint.The USB ports on the front are handy but are only powered when the unit is on and not in standby.DAB+ is what I mainly bought this for, it sounds good, the only problem is that it takes several seconds to change channel it does make casually flicking through channels rather tortuous.There are inexplicably only 6 DAB presets as opposed to 18 FM presets which is where this loses a star, also there is some high frequency noise (I'm guessing from the processor) which is a bit irritating when you're close to the speakers.To my surprise the settings and radio presets are saved when you cut the power to the unit, as long as you've switched it off on the front panel first (press the power button until it says GOODBYE).The thing I would change the most, though, would be the display. It's just about adequate but doesn't accommodate many characters and really could do with a signal strength meter, instead it's got a pointless VU meter. You can't dim the display or switch it off but in a kitchen it doesn't really matter.I put a CR2016 button battery in the remote and it's OK but nothing special, a bit cheap and with a poor range but it's a nice little extra.All in all I'm very impressed, it's great value and is almost perfect for what I'm using it for, I was expecting to sell it on eBay for a big loss but it's a definite keeper. Should have bought one years ago.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. He said it was very easy to set up.

Volume keeps going up and down .Dab keeps cutting out

I bought this for our caravan and in particular for the DAB and Bluetooth connectivity. I wanted to connect my TV to watch and listen through the caravan speakers. It works but the lip sync is out and I've tried everything to sort it but without much luck. There is also a buzz at all times, it's not loud but just there in the background. Apart from that, it was fairly easy to install, and the Bluetooth is great when connected to my phone.

Ricezione in DAB non funziona, probabilmente necessità di apposita antenna non quella in FM, si sente poi un leggero "fischio" di sottofondo che però non disturba. La funzione per le telefonate é inutilizzabile: volume troppo basso e microfono non possono gestire una conversazione decente. Valuto ad ogni modo 4 stelle perché stiamo parlando di un apparecchio da poche decine di euro. La musica si sente comunque bene sia in FM che con USB

Autoradio abbastanza facile da installare, serve comunque una certa manualità e dimestichezza sui cavi elettrici dell’auto, per l’ascolto di stazioni Dab è necessario un’antenna adeguata che le auto più datate potrebbero non avere.Purtroppo le istruzioni sono in inglese e ho dovuto tradurle utilizzando un traduttore online solo dopo averle trascritte nell’apposita casella, per questo tolgo 1 stella.Dopo il montaggio controllo la ricezione Dab ma dipende molto dalla zona dove mi trovo se è coperta dal segnale, mentre per la banda FM non ci sono problemi la ricezione è buona, l’audio è discreto e anche la potenza, naturalmente dipende anche dalla qualità degli altoparlanti utilizzati.Molto comodo il telecomando, necessita pero della batteria CR2016 non in dotazione e non è stato facile capire quale batteria utilizzare.Il Bluetooth funziona abbastanza bene anche se è una versione 4.2 non recente, comode le porte USB per l’ascolto di musica tramite chiavette.Prodotto discreto ma senza istruzioni in italiano e senza batteria al telecomando.
