Mudder 4 Pcs Rubber Latches T-Handle Steel Brackets for Hood Cabinet

I have a steel utility box that we have mounted on the back of our golf cart and after years of use, the built in handle/latches were useless. A friend helped me find these and they are great. I recommend that you mount them at a distance where they require the minimum stretch to fit. Over the years, if they elongate, you can just lengthen the mount position to accommodate the inevitable stretching of the rubber over time.

I used these for latches on the tailgate of my homemade golf cart utility bed. These secure the bed tightly and were fairly easy to install. The black rubber T handles are a bit beefier than I expected. They seem like they'll last a while. The holes for fastening are a bit small and the location of one of the holes on the cupped piece was a bit awkward. I had to drill it out a bit to accommodate a fastening screw.

These I bought for my 1979 Ford Bronco, because when off roading my hood gets loose. These keep it down and safely in place. Good quality and so far are working great

Large toggle should work for my application. Not sure how stainless the stainless is, looks more like plated steel very magnetic

Had a cooler lid that just wouldn't stay closed, was meant to not have latches but needed them so I figured these would work. Did great until my son ripped the screws out on a fishing trip because he doesn't know how to be gentle with anything. Couple of stainless bolts and nuts and it's good as new. Definitely would recommend upgrading the screws but other than that they seem solid

I used 2 of latches on my tool box I bolted on the back of my four wheeler. Works great it has never come undone even at 90 kph on rough gravel roads. Adds an extra layer of security no matter what tools and gear that is bouncing around in the box.

NOT Stainless Steel, these are nickel plated and will RUST. Stainless steel is not magnetic it shouldn’t hold upside down on my magnet
