My kid inherited her spelling style from my dad, the civil engineer. Maths he could do, but not so much spelling. He always carried one of these with him. Now my kid has one too, and she loves it! Bad spelers untie and by this book! Itz exsellent!

The size is small enough to fit in your hand. The book doesnt give definitions so i dont think its truly a dictionary... but its some what help for words that sound alike

I bought this book for myself. I am a college intern and needed something handy for my process recordings. They are done by good old pencil and paper. Ive gotten so used to spell check on computers that my spelling has declined. This little book is discrete and comes in very handy.

This is a dictionary beyond the ordinary. Kids in school find it easy to use, both in terms of size and lay-out. Words are shown with the most common errors thus enabling children to find their way around the book easily. It includes homophones, those words that sound alike but are spelled differently and may mean TOTALLY different things and a list of words that one may just be a little unsure of. For such a small book, it has so much in it that I am just about to order a set for use in school!

Disappointing! I had a much better version of this concept when I was a child which helped me a lot. So far, of the words I have checked with my child over 50% of them have not been in! It’s too small to be really helpful.
