This basket has a sturdy bottom and can fit about two nights of wood. I love the hammered metal design and mesh so you can see the wood.

I've only had this a couple of months but so far love it. Great construction and quality materials. Looks nice and is completely functional. I split logs into smaller pieces and toss them in and it hasn't dented or shown any signs of ware. Even full of heavy hardwood it holds up no problem. Almost didn't buy this because I thought it was on the expensive side but you get what you pay for with this and I'd buy it again without hesitation.

I spent a lot of time trying to find a bin for firewood. Many products were over-priced, and/or they didn't fit well with the rest of the design in the room with my fireplace. This bin turned out to be a great choice for me. It is very sturdy and looks great in my living room. I would definitely recommend this.

Love the product, however, the handles came damaged. Don't want to deal with returning, so I turned them as to not see the damage part. Otherwise, I love it and it is a nice addition to my fireplace.

Use at fireplace with limited space. Does the trick well

Looked for a decent solution to carry firewood and store it in the house. Went between this and a rollup leather carrier. Glad I got this as it is just the right size to get a fair amount of wood, the handles are out of the way of the wood and it has a solid bottom to minimize mess. Plus it looks great with my graphite colored Scan stove.

I'm pretty satisfied with this product. I haven't had other similar things to compare it to. It is very sturdy and well built, and looks nice next to the fireplace. We tend to empty it and stack the logs next to the fireplace (insert, actually). My one complaint really relates to packaging. The wooden handles were glued to protective paper, and the residue of the glue did not really clean off. That's not a big deal since you can't see it, but I can feel it when I pick it up. Also, the bolts that hold the wooden handles were not tightened and were undone on one side when it arrived (or came undone during shipping, because there were not tightened prior). I hand-tightened these and in no time the end-cap nuts fell off and the handle was loose, and nuts lost. I bought replacement nuts at Home Depot with no difficulty, and this time tightened them up with tools. So sure, I should have tightened them before using it, but the manufacturer should have tightened it before shipping it! Apart from this issue, which is irrigating but does not reflect on the product itself really, we are very happy with it. But minus one start for the crapping packaging/preparation.

Brilliant. it looks lovely and doesn't misshapen when putting a lot of logs in it and you can put a lot of logs in it. The only thing i would change would be to have the bottom four inches solid to stop the sawdust coming out but otherwise we love it.

Needed something to hold logs in that looked nice and was strong. This fits the bill perfectly. While some bits of the logs I put in do come off with handling and the very small ones can get through the wire mesh it is not a big problem. If you don't like little bits of wood around your fireplace refit with a natural gas one!!The unit is well made and strong. The colour is grey neutral so it goes with our colour scheme and would probably go with just about anyones.
