Wish I had a better answer 😐 It is called a thumb knob but you will not find it as individual part it is sold mounted to the faceplate as is the opening handle. I would suggest going to your local Re-Store/Habitat to hopefully find a used one, a new faceplate is around $200 from Anderson.

It is broken. return it for another one. The two pieces are supposed to be joined together from the factory. I'm a locksmith. I purchased one to replace a part that had separated on a customers door
