Safavieh Mercer Collection Connie Grey Linen Club Chair

This chair is a world traveler and I still love it. It’s dealt with everything... and I mean everything. It’s still a favorite chair in my house even if the royal blue velvet is starting to wear on the arms and the metal to tarnish. At first like everyone else I was concerned about the size, I’m not a small woman (220lbs) and yet here it is 5 years after buying it and its still functional as a chair. My kids fight over it, my dog and cat love it, My husband uses it for video gaming because it’s light and easily movable. So I figured I’d write this review because I can speak to the chairs longevity and quality.

I was hesitant to buy this chair because the reviews said it was small. One review said it was a doll house chair and another said only children could fit in it. I disagree. As far as size goes, if you are expecting a large, Jane Eyre/Mr. Rochester type mansion chair, it's not large like that. I bought this to use as a meditation chair. It's extremely well made, very soft, very comfortable, high quality and packaged with the greatest care.As far as people saying its more of a bedroom chair, I would agree if you are a person that has large furniture pieces in your living room. The back is not very high so if you are looking to sleep in the chair you probably can't. As far as a very comfortable chair to stay awake and meditate in - excellent.I also disagree with the person who said its Navy blue. I again almost didn't buy this chair because of that comment. The chair looks Royal blue to me. It's beautiful, velvety, soft, and full. The cushion is very plush. The studs/rivets are a gorgeous touch.This chair is a good buy.

I saw this chair online and had to have it as my entire bedroom is in seafoam green shades with pink and yellow accents. The chair matches the room perfectly and is the exact size to fit in the corner by the window. I love to read in the chair and often do my knitting there also. The chair is very well made and is very comfortable. I love club chairs in that they surround you and the seat is tilted to the back slightly. I have a small pillow I place behind my back to cushion the small of my back....very comfortable. The chair arrived packed in a heavy structured box with padding all around and a muslin cover that you can slip over it...this comes in handy to use when we are away on vacation and our cats decide they want to sleep on the chair. The chair was extremely easy to assemble...just take the legs out of a zippered pouch on the bottom of the chair and screw them into the base, and voila, the chair is ready to sit in. I priced this chair on several websites and Amazon had the best price. It was quickly shipped and packed extremely well. You won't be disappointed.

I love the look of the chair. It is really beautiful. But, it is so small that only a child could sit in it. My 6-foot tall husband had his knees in his chest when he tried to sit in it. We had to return it.

Love the color and comfort very tiny will probably end up moving it to another location . From guest bedroom to my daughter's room. But it is pretty.

Pretty easy assembly; just had to screw legs in on bottom. Comfortable with slight lean towards back. Low profile, which is just what we wanted for the space they were going to be in. Overall, look and feel good. They are slightly on the small side, but average size adults should have no problem sitting in.

These chairs are stunning. Everyone who walks into my apartment immediately says "I love these chairs!" I expected them to be less of a purple blue and more navy. They are quite small but that's what I liked about them when purchasing due to my smaller apartment. They were easy to assemble and I'm glad I purchased them.

I am 5 foot tall, and this chair looks small to me! it is a petite chair. After saying that, it is a great bedroom chair, and is very comfortable if you are one of us small people.
