Directions had a few holes, be sure this will work with existing computer AUX options.

I've had it for a few weeks to extend to have three monitors. The device was easy to connect and works well. My only concern is that it is very hot.

I should have done my research before buying. Can't even find a website for this "brand" (Kapok). Tested it within 30 days of receiving it. Seemed okay. Finally used it for the purpose I purchased it for within 60 days. Was able to have 2 displays (monitor and TV) hooked up to my laptop,and played audio through the TV. But after 1 hour, it was extremely hot, and just quite working. Have to unplug, wait for it to cool down, and reconnect. The product description says that it can be returned within 60 days. False advertising as far as I'm concerned. Contacted Amazon. They said the return was for technical support; that would essentially be for a warranty, right? For a product this simple, that's essentially a warranty (or should be). The Answers on the product listing say no driver is needed; it's plug and play. The laptop I'm using is a less-than-6-month-old $1,200.00 HP, so it's not the laptop. The Amazon agent told me the manufacturer would contact me. That was yesterday. This review will stay posted until the situation is remedied. [EDIT] Amazon authorized a return and refund. I'll leave the review here to help others.

I was excited for this splitter because I work off my laptop and 2 monitors. First day of use and the splitter and my laptop got extremely hot! So hot that everything shut down in the middle of a meeting. Once I disconnected the splitter my laptop cooled down and no further issues arose. I gave it 3 stars because it worked well as an extender t my monitors, but because I now need to return it and find something that is not a hazard.

Great value- wasn't overly priced. I get scared of how light weight it is and the connection port. I have to be super careful with it as I feel- one wrong move....the port will snap and leave me with a bigger issue cuz it broke off in the computer. Other than, hp elitebook works great and I hooked up 2 additional monitors
