Fabric is nice medium weight and appears to be durable. Pretty design. Fits the pillow well, not too loose or tight.

So far, I like everything about them! My first one just arrived today. It appears to be a durable, upholstery-fabric type of cover. It looks as if it were specially made to go with my sofa, as it truly is the look and feel of a pillow that comes as a complimentary element with a sofa you might have just bought....like a manufacturer grade pillow.The fabric is soft enough, but not super soft like a chenille or velvety type of pillow might be. But, like I said....the super soft ones are the extra's that we tend to buy for our furniture throw pillows, ourselves.I live in a rural area and went to Hobby Lobby to purchase the filler pillow to put this cover on. They did not have a 12 x 20. The closest I could get was a 12 x 22. I crossed my fingers and hoped that I could just stuff in those two extra inches, knowing full well that the pillow would likely be on the firmer side IF I could get it all stuffed in. It worked beautifully!!! It turns out that those cheapo pillow fillers at Hobby are really soft and the corners of them tend to need a little extra stuffing. By having the extra filler pillow, it filled out the corners of the cover perfect! And the pillow wasn't that firm, overstuffed feel....afterall. I am ordering two more of the 12 X 20 covers.....and yes, I AM going to buy the 12 x 22 fillers on purpose! There isn't any undue pressure on the zipper, either. However, be gentle with the zipper. Where it is new, I suppose.....it moves slowly, as if it's a little sticky. I think it will begin to open and close a little more smoothly and efficiently with more use. It's fine....just a little stiff to move. I was extra gentle and took notice that my oversized filler pillow didn't add any undue pressure. I didn't want to overfill to the point of causing the zipper to blow out or for it to come loose where the zipper is sewn to the cover. I am sure it will loosen in time!Anyway, I am super happy with my purchase! If you're on the fence, just jump in and order this cover. You will not be sorry! It looks pricier than it it, and very tasteful and even on the elegant side! Order it!!!!

Looks just like the picture. The fabric is a decent quality although I have not yet washed it. It was exactly what I was looking for to cover a pillow I have on an oversized chair.

I needed two of these pillow covers and placed the order. I was very disappointed that they didn't match. I ordered another one and it, too, didn't form a match with either of the first two. So I ordered a fourth one and it, too, didn't form a match. So I talked myself into going for another one -- my fifth. With that order I finally had a match with one of the other ones. It's not exact but it's very close. I think it's a roll of dice regarding where on the fabric bolt your cover is going to be cut from. Keep that in mind if you're looking to match multiple covers. And in the end I didn't get a match I was hoping to get (see close up of the pillow. That pattern is lovely, but I'm not willing to invest another ten dollars in my quest to match it. So am I satisfied with the purchase? Yes. Otherwise I wouldn't have kept ordering the covers till I found to that look mostly alike. The fabic is beautiul. Much better in "real life" than it appears in my photos.After all that ordering described above, I've decided the covers (while lovely) are too traditional and, yes, boring in a room that has too much red in it. I've ordered some kinda wild covers to use instead. And they're not going to match because I don't want to go through that again. If you're going for a traditional decor, these covers may be perfect for you. They do deserve the five stars I give them.

**Update** after using this for a few months now: I still havent washed this but the embroidery snags and comes out. See pictures. There are several places that now have small loops forming. Unsure if ironing interfacing or using something like fray check on the back might help. Darn it.Previous review: 5 stars. This cover isn't high end but looks nice. The branches are machine embroidered but well done. The teal color I chose is subtle and I love how the design adds texture without being overly flowery or modern...but could fit in either of those styles. The cover is a little baggy on my insert....but my insert is old and could use some more batting. I haven't washed this yet but I bet it will be ok on a gentle cycle and dry or hang to dry. You only get one cover for the price but I am really happy with it and feel like it was worth the cost.
