OREiN 2-in-1 Bathroom Exhaust Fan with Light, 110 CFM, ENERGY STAR

Works great, extremely bright and exhaust seems decent. Recommended for the price! Purchased to replace an 1980s Broan Nutone 3 setting heater/fan/light combo. Had to do alittle rewiring, slight drywall, frame & duct work. Overall was fairly easy to install. I redid my own frame/studs & did my own mounts so the installation could be completed inside the fan housing and not require access to the attic. To make it easy for replacement & future proofing. Since its already known that these newer appliances & electronics arent built the same like before.

Good looking fan/light bathroom exhaust fan. Quiet with good light output. Installation was a bit challenging. In my case (remodeling project), I wanted to place the fan/light unit as close to the middle of the tub longways as the ceiling joists would allow. This put the fan all the way to one side of the bracket. This also allowed me to attach the fan to the ceiling joist as an extra bonus. Few installation issues: 1) Cross bar mounting bracket slider extentions were not designed to be installed on one side to end piece. Each side were opposite. Unless you are mounting your fan in the middle of the bracket, one corner does not sit level. 2) End pieces I feel should have been ~2 inches longer to allow the end piece to sit level on the sheetrock to cover the spand of the opening. Current design barely spands across the opening in the sheetrock if using the cardboard template provided. Hindsight, I would have not cut the opening as big. I needed to level up the side with the opening before attaching to the ceiling joist. 3) Additionally, the tabs that hold the fan to the bracket has no addjustment to allow you can miss the cross bar bracket bracing internal supports. In my case one set of tabs needed to be inserted at an angle making it difficult to folder over the side bracket for attaching the fan to the mounting bracket. Electrical: I was fortunate to handle my wiring before installation of the fan/light unit. Wiring this on the shallow side for roof would have been very difficult. After installation of the unit, I extended the wire over and down the wall to the new switch box. I would recommend using size 14 gauge wire (15 amp wire). The small connection pocket on the unit is barly large enough to handle the 14/3 wire (Black - fan, Red - light, White - common + ground).

Great fan. Install was a little difficult. I have to remove the old fan from 1996. Need to get a 4x3 reducer and get to work also you need to buy tye cable clamp yo the box so cables stay secured. Love it ligth is great fan works just fine.

Mounting brackets are only on one side so I had to bend a bracket to attach to stud, so now I don't think I can return it. Instructions are not very descriptive. Read through the whole manual before trying to install. Fan not very powerful. I let it it run for quite awhile and put my hand up into the fan and barely felt the air circulation. I don't have a big bathroom and this did practically nothing to get the moisture out after a shower. I had the modify the bracket, I don't think I can return it. I do like how light weight it is, how it looks, and the light is bright. Unfortunately, it won't work for me.

My house still had the original exhaust fans in both bathrooms from when the house was built in the mid '90s. They were noisy, they didn't work very well, and one of them eventually died. I own several other AIDOT products, all of which work great, so I figured I'd buy their exhaust fans to replace the original ones in the house. I wasn't disappointed. The fan is really quiet, it exhausts moisture and odors very well, the light is very bright, and it was really easy to install. I was pretty intimidated about doing the work myself at first, but the instructions were easy to follow and it took very little time and effort to swap these in. I even installed the rail/bracket that goes between joists, which they suggest using on new construction for some reason, because I felt it would be more secure than just screwing the housing to a joist.

Had to replace the downstairs bathroom fan. More than satisfied with the fan. Very quiet, lots of draw as the fan was installed close to the shower, the light is an added bonus. Excellent buy.

The fit and measurments were as described and perfect for my existing hole. Old fan was 100 pcm and wasn t strong enough for my bathroom. This one at 110 pcm is perfect for my need. The light is a nice addition. Easy install with easy to follow steps. I never give 5*.

Light is nice and bright. Fan is very quiet- takes about 2 seconds to start running. Seems to do a good job. Husband easily installed it.
