Almost Shockingly EASY-TO-USE, High-Quality & Attractive Stapler
The product page gives some quantified amount that this stapler makes it easier to staple stuff. But you can’t really appreciate how much it’s easier to squeeze and staple things until you use one. It’s still new enough for me that I’m still surprised every time I use it because of how much easier it is to squeeze and apply staples compared with the standard staplers of various brands, models, and sizes that I’ve used all my life.I’m growing increasingly dissatisfied with my other staplers (I have and use them in different locations), and find this “SmartTouch” stapler so wonderful that I’m likely going to have to replace all my staplers with these. The only possible down side I’ve found is that the stapler doesn’t have as much space in its default position as my other staplers (that is, compared with any “normal” stapler). Thus, if you’re using it to staple something thick, it might be noticeably more difficult to get the paper (or whatever) inside there to staple it. I haven’t tried using it on stacks that would push its max size/capacity to the limit yet, but I do realize that if I were to try to use this stapler on a very thick stack, it would be more difficult than usual to get it in there. Even with a couple pages, you have to pay a little more attention to getting it in there due to the tighter space available when in its normal resting position. But this stapler seems to require almost no effort to squeeze and apply staples, which I’ve found is more important than I would’ve expected before actually using (and thankfully, having!) one of these. I highly recommend this stapler, and hope soon to have nothing but SmartTouch staplers in all the locations I use a stapler!Swingline SmartTouch Stapler, Reduced Effort, 25 Sheets, Black/Gray (S7066503)

Piece of junk
It jams every other staple! Ineligible for a return 😠 too expensive for the inconvenience of having to unjam every other use!!!

works great
this stapler stapler staples really well the only tao small critiques i have for it is the size its a bit awkward because of the size and i really really wish i could pick the color i really wanted the purple one because my office is purple and black but i purchased a paint pen and pented over most of the green

Extremely easy to use
I have only used standard staplers prior to purchasing this one. It is a lot easier to use. I haven't yet tried to staple stacks paper yet, but am otherwise pleased with its performance and ease of use.

Reduced effort? More like increased frustration!
This stapler is a dead branch in the Swingline family tree. It says in the description, "Full Strip." Lies! It does not accommodate a full strip. Maybe 13/14th's of a strip, which is beyond annoying. And the jams! I have discovered that, most times, I can whack it on my desk with a moderate amount of force to free the jam (much to the chagrin of my fellow coworkers). The ease of freeing a jam is hardly a selling point, however. Because I would rather staple papers with a hammer and nails, as it would be just as quick and easy! The Swingline SmartTouch COMPACT is the way to go here. Which is crazy, because it looks like the same stapler, just shorter. But it will only jam at the end of the staple strip, rather than every other staple. This is THE most annoying stapler that I have ever used. A stain on the Swingline name, to be sure. Take this off the market!

Swingline Stapler, SmartTouch Desktop Stapler
Great stapler. Got it for Mom who is 95 and it is easy to push to staple! Definitely reduced effort! Very sturdy and easy to use.

Perfect low profile handheld stapler
Only complaint is that the button to open the slide can get bumped and open accidentally.

Jams when almost out of staples
This stapler works great most of the time. However, when it gets down to the last few staples, it jams. Every time. I try and remember to check it to be sure that there are enough staples in it, but I do not always remember. If it as not for the jamming, it would it 5 stars. It staples a good amount of papers without much effort. But the jamming it annoying and take a few minutes to fix each time. I do expect more from a swingline product.

works well
It's a stapler, it works with regular staples. Not much to say. Just would have been nice to chose my own colour.

Very unreliable, don't purchase
Regularly breaks - the mechanism that you press to open up the stapler section is very unreliable. Unfortunately, I cannot see an option to receive a refund.

good purchase.
Works well, was what I was looking for. It was scuffed up a bit, and colours were scratched. All in all, for the price, good purchase.
