‘So far so good’ !
I found this double socket easy to fit to my garden shed. It appears to be well made with quality materials and was easy to connect to ‘Alexa’ via the Smart Knight’ app. It is now so easy to ask Alexa to turn on the garden lights (and keep my wife happy). I wonder if some of the negative reviews may be the result of poor installation and/or perhaps a weak internet connection. However, as my title suggests, my opinion may change over the coming months ; if so I will most certainly update my review.

Not what I thought
Sadly the remote only works when you are a few feet away, as soon as I go indoors won’t work so no good for me. I wanted to be able to turn outside Xmas lights on and off from indoors but I have to get up and go outside to make it work. Not worth the money.

Re: Knightsbridge Weatherproof IP66 13A 2G DP Outdoor RCD Switched Socket - Type A 30mA, Black, (OP9RCD). Purchased on 12May2022, developed a fault with the right hand socket's on/off switch on 4Jun2022. Unable to switch the right hand socket on. Switch feels like it has mechanically failed. Will be requesting a replacement or refund under warranty.

Not very good.
Advertised as being able to remotely use from 30mtrs..im having trouble using it from 10 mtrs..with obstruction.Not very good. 🤨🤨
