Inserts, 5 in Jaw, PR

Extremely low quality. They look and feel like a counterfeit knock-off, but apparently aren't. Somehow less knurling brand new on these than the ones they're replacing with 10 years of wear on them. The knurling that is there is very shallow and uneven. The edges are razor sharp from no attempt at breaking edges after manufacture. The surface grinder only touched about half of the jaw on a couple of the "machined" faces. The included screws are completely the wrong size.These are supposed to be factory replacement Wilton parts. The price certainly reflects that. The product doesn't.They do, however, fit and work just fine. They were properly packaged in oil and VCI type paper.

Got these for my freshly restored Wilton 1750. They are extremely grippy so what ever you are placing in the vise jaws WILL get marred if it's not as strong as the steel on the jaws themselves... might want to look into soft pads to cover these if you are working on something nice...The price, is high on these.. actually my fault for not looking on tooltopia first. They have them there for half the price...Overall though very good quality.. Comes shipped with grease on them and wrapped in a brown wax paper to prevent rusting.. I took off the excess grease and polished them so now they are shiny and look good!-Nigel

These vise jaws freshened up my vise. The jaws protrude a bit taller than the vise it's self, but i'm ok with it. Maybe if flipped over they will fit different. I'll try that.

I was looking for new inserts for my vise to put it back into good shape. I found these, although the identifying picture is of a clamp, and purchased them. They would rate a 5-star rating except the screws that came with the inserts were metric and the vise threads were SAE. I used the old bolts and the vise is now in excellent shape again.

Fit the vice nice. Mounting hardware was wrong thread for my vice.

Screws that came with the inserts did not fit my vise. I am pretty sure the ones that came with the inserts are metric, and the holes in my vise are 1/4-20 standard thread. Haven't really put the inserts to the test yet. They seem pretty well made though.

Decent jaws, but the included screws are definitely incorrect. I had to use my old screws to fasten them down.
