Great product
This product is fantastic. I even mis-use it by applying to my lawn. I was tired of applying fertilizers that barely worked, so I used this and set my Scotts spreader to #10. 4 weeks later the grass was so thick I had a problem getting my Honda mulcher lawnmower to push through it; the following year I set it back to #8 and at least I could cut the grass. Set it back again to #7 this year. Another plus is that I have noticed that weeds have a problem getting started, so I use less weed killer now. All my blooming plants thrive noticeably on this, even use it on my wife's house plants. Great product. [UPDATE 5/2026]: yup, still using it and my lawn is envy of the neighbors. Works super on my flowering Bridal Wreath bush, and flowering crab apple trees. Use it on all my plants, actually...

Easy to apply and good for growth
It's great, easy to apply and it releases slowly. It's not good for flowers, but you get good growth and lots of leaves. You need a higher potassium level for flowers.

Plant food!
Ok so I don't have a control group to compare, so I really don't know if this stuff works or not lol. But my perennials come back bigger and better every year, and I use this in Spring and Fall. Just a little goes a long way! Experts say you should fertilize plants yearly, so that's what I do! Figure it can only help them. Note: any fertilizer can burn the roots of young plants, so dont use on seedlings or plants under a year or two.
