The Marmot Hydrogen 15F Down Sleeping Bag has plenty of technical features to recommend it this season. Stuffed with 800 fill power goose down treated with Down Defender, the Hydrogen 15F Down Sleeping Bag is constructed with ultra lightweight Pertex Microlight nylon ripstop and the inside lining is treated with DWR. The smooth curved baffles help eliminate cold spots, and the advanced Nautilus multi-baffle hood helps prevent the heat from escaping. An insulated draft tube is snagless, and the full length locking YKK two-way zipper has a zipper guard slider. There is a second fold-down zipper that lets you customize your ventilation when the night air is a littler warmer. The footbox is anatomically designed with a wrap-around construction for additional warmth, and the hood has a drawcord so you can customize the fit. An internal stash pocket lets you store your smartphone close at hand so you can stay connected. Two hang loops make it easy to lash on your pack, and the stuff and storage sack is included.

So far a fine bag
The color (Dark Citron/Olive 4648) is not as bad as it looks in the picture. I chose this Marmot Hydrogen (#24120) color as it was on the sale. Besides, I sleep with closed eyes, so the color really does not matter. The forest animals may stare, though. The footbox, as they call it, is really generous. There are likely several versions, or editions, of the Marmot Hydrogen. I also own Marmot Hydrogen #2000, purchased in 2005. It is much slender in the feet area. It has a stiffer fabric along the zipper, so it does not snag. The current version is prone to it. Big surprise was the fill. On the current one it is 800+, pretty standard, but the #2000 version was 900. Still, it is a nice bag and packs small. It will fit into a 6-liter compression bag. However, it does come with its own sack, Marmot extra small. Packing into it requires dexterity, but it again packs into some six liter package. For storage it comes with a generous size mesh bag. The best is to hang this on a coat hanger, assuming there is space left in a closet.

Marmot Hydrogen, Regular size LZ, SKU # 24120
I'm very happy with this sleeping bag. It's well-thought-out and well made with high quality. I like the footbox and a hood. Left zipper lights up in the dark. I weighed my sleeping bag (Marmot Hydrogen, Regular size LZ, SKU # 24120) without any stuff/storage sacks and its real weight is 716 g! Not 665 g as declared on the official site and sleeping bag label. So this is the only point that made me a little sad :( I have compared this bag with my Sea to Summit Micro MC II. Micro MC II is 635 g. Hydrogen is packing and well compressing into Micro MC II compress sack (XS size). So if somebody's thinking what compress suck to buy for Hydrogen, you can buy STS XS size.

too narrow for me
I am 6ft 2in and 220 lbs. I don't think I would be comfortable sleeping in this bag. I returned it.
