Still the Best, but not what they were.
Although they are preferred by my dog better than any other treat available, you did something different. They don't look the same as they used to (I've ordered these for about two years now). My dog is not as crazy about them as he was before. I'd like you to go back to however you were making them months ago.

Made in China? So what.
I have read several uninformed reviews about the potential harmfulness of this product due to its sourcing of Chinese chicken. Please read Dogswell's quality assurance policy I have posted below:[...]Working for a medical device company in the states, I have an understanding of the methods and manufacturing requirements the FDA implements on drug and food companies. It is strict. The FDA had recalled a few chicken products sourced from China in May of 2012 due to trace amounts of antibiotic levels in the food including lesser quality companies such as Purina. These trace levels would not be dangerous to your dogs, and would definitely not be immediately noticeable in the dog's behavior. The FDA has not implicated Dogswell products, nor have they mentioned Dogswell in the recalls of other chicken jerky manufacturers. By all means I do not work for Dogswell nor do I represent them in any way.People! Do you have any idea of the products that you consume on a daily basis and where they come from? I doubt half of you know that the dog kibble you feed your dog contains significant animal by-products. Now I cannot guarantee there is nothing wrong with the Chinese sourced chicken in this product, but at some point you need to trust the statements and regulations used by the company. If you research the quality of their other food products, you will find that they are of the upmost quality. Search for yourself on websites such as dogfoodadvisor.com. The fact that Dogswell accepts, acknowledges, and even supports the FDA decision on Chinese chicken instills in me trust in this company. They even post the results of their testing for antibiotics on their website so you can see exactly what is in them. So if you continue to post, "My dog throws up right after eating these," you really have no evidence to suggest that Chinese chicken is the reason. I fed my dog Blue Buffalo and she had non-stop diarrhea for a week (yes, I tapered off the old food), but that does not lead me to blame that the food has poison in it.I hope this helps you make a decision about this product rather than simply stating, "DO NOT BUY, Chinese chicken will kill your dog!!!" or simply "Great product, my dog loves it!"

scared of them
I used to like them for my dog but was a little scared of them coming from China and then when i got the email letting me know that something was found in them that wasn't supposed to be there I have stopped getting them, they said it wouldn't hurt my dog what was found in them but if that can happen no telling what else could slip through and harm my dog.

Dog likes it, but source is suspect
I've fed my dog several packages of the chicken jerky and she really liked them. Unfortunately the chicken being sourced from China is still a concern; I checked the FDA website today and it continues to caution consumers about a potential association between the development of illness in dogs and the consumption of chicken jerky products from China. My pet displayed no ill effects but as a precaution I will not buy this product again.

So much better for your loving pet than people food!
My pug is 12 years old. He loves these treats. The Vitality treats are fairly new for George and he loves them! He sometimes wants a snack and I don't want to feed him too much because fat pugs die before thin pugs. George is 84 so for a snack instead of cheese or a hamburger patty I give him a Vitality jerky treat about 1/2 a piece once or every other day. I know he wants people food however my brother-in-law who is a Veterinarian in Los Angeles has told me countless time you take a few years off their lives if you feed them people food. They don't digest the way we do. I hope he live to b dry, very old. He is 84 now. Cheers!

Great treat, but the packaging sucks.
It stays fresh when sealed, but the thin plastic resealable strip is awful. It doesn't seal properly all the time. It should seal much more easily. When not sealed it then dries out the treats. I recommend removing and putting in another container to keep freshness much longer.

Healthier snack
My little dog loves this jerky everyday. He was raised on homemade turkey jerky. But he loves this more which is a delight to me as it has added in Flax seed, vitamin A & E to help with his coat and eyesight. And it has the Omega Fatty Acids I have a hard time getting into him at times. He will choose this treat over any other and as it's free range chicken I feel better about this snack. There's no flour or corn meal to cause distress. His tummy is easy to upset and we've had no disturbances with this treat. I feel good about feeding it to him everyday.

Vitality Jerky
My 3 dogs usually like Dogswell Jerky, but for some reason, they didn't like 'vitality'. I don't know if it's the taste or smell or what the problem is, but they won't eat it. This is the first time they've turned down a 'treat'.
