That little tab does something
OK....so my honda has a valve guide issue and I end up pulling the cover periodically to check it out. As such, I needed to make a paper gasket because that sealant really is a one time use thing. I wanted to use the cover as a template to cut out the gasket material. The little tab at the bottom was in the way of it laying flush so I sliced it off and made a paper gasket. Only after did I realize that tab holds the shaft in that supports the cam gear. DUH!! So...don't do what I did.

Perfect Fit!
Fit GCV160 perfectly.Old valve cover was "OHC" model without pulley guard. This model has the pulley guard and it fit without issue.

Says Honda On it
OEM part for a Honda GC190 engine. Made of metal which is shinier than the one installed (due to age). Slightly different design (version revision) and says Honda instead of OHV (not that I care). Installed perfectly, as did the OEM version. I have not needed customer service so can't comment on that, but would not hesitate to buy this brand, from this seller again.
