Samsung Galaxy Note LTE SGH-I717 AT&T ~ Black Cover Housing ~ Mobile Phone Repair Part Replacement

This part appears to be OEM and is exact all the way down to the part and serial numbers. It is an exact fit on my ATT Galaxy Note 1 (I say 1 as 2 has been announced). This phone has a fantastic design in that the entire rear section of the phone (that can be seen) can be removed and this part replaces it including the silver boarder around the side of the phone. It takes about 20 minutes if you take your time, but you'll remove the battery, SIM, Mem Card (if you have one), 9 screws (very small Phillips) around the boarder. You then use a guitar pick or other prying tool to unsnap the fasteners around the perimeter of the phone (just take your time and watch the you tube video first). Don't forget to remove the tape covering the lens on the inside and outside of the cover housing (the part you're ordering) before installing and don't get finger prints on it. The new part just snaps back on, you'll replace the 9 screws, replace the battery, sim and mem and you're done. Outstanding part, highly recommend.I watched this video first.[...]

This was a perfect fix to the problem with my note 1 i717 at&t. Even though when contacting the vendor who said a new camera was needed. After watching many you tube videos (some being BAD advice). The local cell phone repair said $90 + at least. $150 if (probably camera). Bottom line camera took completely blurry pictures. On 1 video showing the same problem and replacing lens after. I decided to give it a shot. $20. Soooo easy. Had to do twice as I was clumsy and disconnected 1 small connector on the edge. After that perfect. Works like new. Perfect fit.

I ordered this because the lens on my Note's camera was scratched up from not using a case. I took my Note to a local cell phone repair shop and they wanted $90 to fix it. I found a video on youtube [...] where someone took a note apart and it didn't look to hard to replace this part. This replacement is exactly like the original. Everything fits and looks really good.My phone looks 100% new now and my pictures are back to the quality they were when I first bought the phone.
