Emuaid First Aid Ointment, 2oz

Colloidal silver is the ingredient that causes it's effectiveness. It is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial. It works, for sure. Works on toe nail fungus, bug bites, rashes.etc. My husband is using it for a 20 year stubborn case of lichen planus on his legs that he has tried EVERYTHING to effect a cure. Emuaid is clearing it up! HOWEVER, BE AWARE PROLONGED USE OF COLLOIDAL SILVER CAN CAUSE ARGYRIA. That is a blue discoloration of the skin that is permanent... caused by exposure to the sun on areas treated with colloidal silver. Ingestion of colloidal silver can result in generalized blue-gray discoloration of the skin. I know of NO reports of blue skin from this product. Emuaid states there have been no reports... But do not everuse it. Research argyria and colloidal silver and use with caution. The first ingredient of this product is argentum metallica. That is silver. I do think Emuaid should publish a caution regarding the possiblity that this might occur with prolonged use. However, I have also read reports that it cannot occur with the new smaller nano particles used in modern preperations. I have questioned Emuaid regarding this repeatedly...with NO RESPONSE. Bottom line: Emuaid does what it says it will do!!! But use with caution.

It's smell doesn't linger and is faint at best. It does temporarily rid my skin of what a Dr. called skin barnacles. That word grossed me out enough to try this. It is expensive and has to be applied faithfully or it comes back.

If you're reading this, first of all I'm sorry. You're here because you have something horribly painful going on. My particular situation was a fissure and hemorrhoids which is just as much fun as it sounds. I had previously tried all of the OTC remedies, including witch hazel products, creams, wipes, stool softeners, etc. I'm a very healthy and active person and this was destroying my life humiliatingly. Before this I had also ordered Fissure Control which is an oil. I hated to drop this kind of money on one product but you know when you get to that point of desperation, you'll try anything. (I had also spoken to my PCP about help and he offered me a prescription suppository which was a cool $400 and wouldn't be covered by insurance.) This product seems to work great! You must keep yourself clean and you must be extremely consistent with your regimen, but I really do feel like after 36 hours or so it makes a huge difference. The texture is not too thick and it smells like essential oils (think tea tree), and it doesn't burn. The reason I give it four stars instead of five is because I did end up going to a colorectal specialist who praised me for what I had been trying to do for my own healing, and checked out the ingredient list on this Emuaid. He did say that it's almost the same as the Calmoseptine I also had (whoops on my part) and it's half the price. So if you've read this far, and you're serious about healing, get Calmoseptine instead. From what I understand (though I didn't compare exactly) the ingredients are almost exactly the same and you can get Calmoseptine at Walgreens or here on Amazon for less than $25. So I just put this on here to say that yes Emuaid is a great product, but at least for anal fissure and hemorrhoid relief, there's a cheaper option. And finally, if you're in pain, please do go get checked out. The exam was super quick and not painful, amazingly. Good luck to you!

I've had cellulitis three times. The first time, I went to the Urgent Care who then advised I go to the ER. I spent several hours in the ER while they pumped antibiotics into me via IV. Boring and not fun. The second time, I noticed it earlier and trying to avoid another trip to the ER, I used Emuaid on the red, heated areas of skin on my leg, reapplying 3 or 4 times over the next 24 hours. Heeding advice I'd read online, I marked the affected areas of skin with a marker so I could tell if the infection was spreading. Within 24 hours, my leg was cooler to the touch and the redness was receding. Within 48 hours, the symptoms were reduced by at least half; 72 hours and I was clear (but reapplied until all the redness was gone). Sure, I can't be sure it was cellulitis, so......The third time I noticed the redness and heated skin, I repeated the applications of Emuaid (Extra Strength this time) and hoped it would once again save me a trip to the doctor. I was relieved and thankful that my symptoms cleared up and that I had the Emuaid on hand. This stuff is a miracle in a jar.

way overpriced. hyped up . the emu oil carrier makes the ingredients penetrate story is baloney. whatever you put on the skin absorbs without any emu oil. ederma makes great skin products that really work..i didn't give emuaid a full long time of use. i had to return it in time. it didn't seem to work on what i had. i switched to calmoseptin & an ayurvedic herbal ointment from India. im going to try echinacea ointment next. also Egyptian magic worked great on the skin it has royal jelly in it plus other good stuff.. so did miracle 2 nebulizer gel.

There is a waring on the official Emuaid website about counterfeit vendors selling on Amazon. I contacted Amazon customer service about then warning, and was assured that the Emuaid fullfilled by Amazon comes directly from Emuaid.I would advise anyone buying this product to visit the Emuaid website to see the warning for yourself, and only order product from either the Emuaid website, or product on Amazon that s fulfilled by Amazon.The Emuaid I received was fulfilled by Amazon, it's the real deal, no couterfeit, and I have not had a cold sore since I started using this amazing product. Cold Sores are painful. embarracing, and they shut your life down for weeks without treatment.Now when I feel that tingle in my lip, or that chapped burning sensation I treat my lips with Emuaid. This product is highly effective for managing the discomfort (sometimes extreme) of lichen sclerosis. Most of the time the symptoms are 100% controlled with a once or sometimes twice daily application. About once a year I end up having symptoms despite its use. On one of those occasions I needed to switch to a steroid cream for 10 days to get it stopped, then I resumed with Emuaid. It has allowed me to avoid the ongoing use of steroids. This is an astonishingly effective treatment which my dermatologist fully supports. I'd consider it a life-changing treatment and far safer than steroids.

The product soothed an annoying skin irritation. Unlike medical steroids, there are no side effects which is a bonus. May not cure the problem but it may provide pain relief. I used it successfully with prescribed medical products.

This product is amazing for women. I order this product after I saw an article that it could be used for vulvodynia. A Chronic pain syndrome of the vulvar tissue. This has happened to me a few times now and it always happens after I have been in the Hot Tub! I shower after, dont sit in my suit. But for some reason that area of my body no longer tolerates chlorine. It start this irritation that the doctors could not diagnose. I was treated with antibiotics, yeast infection treatments, steriods, and estrogen creams. This last time I have the burning while urinating for over two months. Everything the doctor prescribed made is worse. It was painful! Then I saw this product when searching internet for help. They said it was a miracle cure. This is just what it is. This topical cream is helpful to a degree. To help body speeding up recovery is better to boost immune system and balance hormone level on a first place. Emuaid has a list of good ingredients, but somehow irritates patches of my eczema. It worked well on healing scratched skin.
