This is mandatory for every one handed person to own.
I waited awhile to write this review because I thought it just can’t be this great. I thought it was to small at first but it is perfect size for us one handed persons, the dishwasher, sink etc. Absolutely every one handed person should have one of these. This should be in every occupational therapy office. I kept trying to see what I would do to improve it. The only thing I came up with was some pegs bent in hook and a little knob on sliding press so I could use it to hold open plastic bags. Not only is this great for us one hand people but this could prevent many accidents cutting for everyone. I first thought price was high but after using and seeing quality I thought this was a bargain. This is best thing since sliced bread (even better as I was able to slice my own bread perfectly with this).

Broke In Same Place, Two Separate Purchases.
Okay, I don't usually write bad reviews, but feel I must speak up! First, when working this is an excellent board for my husband who had a stroke years ago, and now has use of only 1 hand, the right. In the image illustration you will note the "Jaws" with the red knob. The underside clip on the adjustable lever that's used to adjust the "Jaws" broke in the same place on two different purchased units. The plastic and metal join doesn't seem to be strong enough to handle weekly use. Shame, as this is one of the best kitchen accessories we've found to give my husband more freedom in the kitchen. Now, do I order a third unit knowing it will break to make my husbands life easier, or just move to another manufacture?

Board did not mar from slicing turkey breast with electric knife.
No directions was a puzzle to set up. My board from 1984 broke it was time to get a new board. THIS ONE IS THE ANSWER TO ALL MY CUTTING ISSUES. I LOVE IT. The rocker i do not need but will use it at the table. Finally after 35 years I can improve my knife skills.I would like to order more black pins and a drip tray. And extra feet.Thank you for offering on Amazon.

EDIT: the below review was when I purchased it. It was amazing for 6 months. Now parts have broken and I just contacted the seller about replacement parts and they said, sorry too bad. IT'S A $70 CUTTING BOARD, SELL ME REPLACEMENT PARTS, YOU BELL ENDS!After my partial paralyization I thought I'd never cook again, but with this cutting board I'm getting me back there! I wish the suction cups were better though. It can move around a lot if you don't wet them first

Break After First Use
The suction cups on the base of the board are completely inadequate with one arm. The suction cups was the deciding factor in my purchase. This would have made the use very easy for my friend that just had their right arm amputated. However, the product is doe not meet the needs for a amputee.The reasons are: (Satisfaction Level 0 to 10, with 0 = worst and 10 = best)Dissatisfaction1. [ 0 ] The screw embedded in the rubber suction cup pulls out when you attempt to move the board from a secured position on a counter surface.2. [ 0 ] The suction cups do not release from a surface without two pressure points on the board. This violates the purpose of the board.3. [ 0 ] Once the screws have separated from the suction cups, there is no way to replace them into the original position. The workaround is to peirce the suction cup with and push the screw through. This is not ideal because there only a few threads available to secure the cup to the board. Additionally, there is no way to use a tool to tighten the screws. The screw does not have a slot for any tool to be used to tighten the screw.4. [ 5 ] The distance between the two vertical support bars is too wide. As designed and manufactured, one is unable to cut anything that is odd-shaped (apple, pear, kiwi, green pepper etc.). The workaround is to place a small bag of pasta against the bars.Satisfaction1. The lever on the movable support is very easy to use.2. The included knife is eay to use

This is my third purchase of this cutting board in the past 13 years (I had a stroke and have one working hand.) It works great at holding jars so you can twist the lid off, hold veggies to slice, etc. It's in constant use in my kitchen. The only alteration I need to do the minute I set it up is add a medium black clip to the metal spikes. without it, the attachment pops out when cutting anything hard, like a brick of hard cheese or a squash. It wears out in about 5-6 years, which is why this is the third one in 13 years. In 5 more years, I'll be buying another one.

Works perfectly. Clamp is strong enough to break the seal on a new bottle of juice or hold a yogurt so that it doesn't move. The prongs hold items—such as a pork tenderloin—in place while you're cutting it. The rocker knife works with cutting. Also, the suction cups are super strong. This was a great investment.

Worth the price!
For anyone with one hand ability, the vice is your best friend! Not only can the vice be used for food cutting, but also for opening jars, pill bottles, etc. The prongs are great for dicing onions, tomatoes, potatoes, etc. Worth the price!!!
