This is great and my 5 month old Quaker loves it but only the Safflower seeds the white ones .. it’s the only ones he cares for. I took him to Avian Vet and he did bloodwork and says his calcium is low. vet says that safflower seeds are like us having a Big Mac every day … says bad for liver and full of fat. There is no way I can get him to eat any pellets. doctor recommended the Harrison’s Super fine and I purchased it here on Amazon … glad they sell it .. I have tried and nothing. vet says no other bird food will be better for him or any bird says it has all he needs nutrition wise .. says other than that to give him like kale and just veggies and fruits says his calcium would be normal if he was on that. Idk what to do ! I have even moistened them.. he is a strange little guy he is super quiet and only wants the safflower seeds.. not a destroyer like people say about Quakers mine is actually scared of everything.. well good luck to all of you !
