This product does what it is made to do. Mine was missing and water was leaking in the cab, passenger side floor. I put this on and surprisingly, it routes the water outside.

The real deal
Seems to be an actual GM part, and fit perfectly on my GMT400 truck (the condenser box overflow on the firewall).

Used gorilla tape to attach a 7 inch plastic tube downward from the part, to make sure that water hits the ground instead of the cab interior and rubber fitting does not become clogged due to engine debris. Knock two stars off because GM wanted to save two cents and did not build with downward extension tube to begin with.
