Amazon Basics Universal 65 Watt Laptop Charger AC Power Adapter Cord for Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Toshiba and more

I have to thank AmazonBasics for this Universal Laptop Charger. I've used it with two different laptops & 3 different batteries & it works well while in either battery mode or charging. It charges your laptop's battery if it is plugged up to a wall outlet. It works well & I recommend it to anyone having a problem finding the right charger for their laptop for one of the ending laptop connectors that it comes with will probably fit, & if not the company states they'll send you the one that will. Check it out! What do you have to lose?

I bought this yesterday and the price went down $20 since then but you know what, don't care. This charger was a life saver. My old one broke and I could not find an adapter that worked for my laptop. My laptop was dead. I decided to give this a shot figuring the worst that could happen is I send it back if it didn't work. Zero problems. It charged my laptop quickly, the cord is long and durable. I could not be happier with this.

I can’t remember where I stored the extra heads, (ports) but I used this as a replacement HP dv5 laptop charger. This is better than the original, let me tell you. It doesn’t seem like much; bragging about a laptop charger, but this thing has an elbow before the port (as opposed to a straight port having to bend as it has to go straight in. That means a lot when thinking of use because you will get more out of the cord as you seem to be relieving tension, or bending, of the cord. I have OCD and also geek out about gadgets, and I’m also staying here how amazing it is that it comes with that circle, Velcro, rubber band holder. Not just one either, but two! That provides for a nice storage option, as you can wrap the Velcro around the charger to store it. I’ll post a picture of what I mean once I am at home, I am at DMV now (lol) waiting for now an hour.

After a bad cord and 2 incorrect power cords, I finally got one that works. The seller was very persistent in making sure I was satisfied. Changing my review. Happy with final product.This cord does not charge my battery. When I got this and tried it, it worked to keep the computer on (if constantly plugged in) but did not charge the battery. Since I have an old battery, I figured it might be the battery. After replacing the battery, the charger is still not charging my battery. I would not recommend this.

This adapter is NOT suitable for Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon 5th Gen - although this is what is stated on the referred webpage tipconfigurator.com. The adapter N13 is simply not a USB-C connecter!

This worked well as a temporary replacement charger for a Lenovo laptop. I had originally purchased this because it would arrive much more quickly than a replacement from the manufacturer. I got a total of about 4 months of normal use out of it with several different laptops before a stiff section of the cord began to split and the charger became an electrical hazard. It had a good run though, and I did get a fairly impressive light show at the end when the exposed section brushed up against my metal end table and began sparking. While I certainly wouldn't recommend it as a primary charger, it was a decent stopgap for my situation and turned out to be one of my more memorable Amazon purchases.

Amazon saves the day with these universal chargers. My lovely cats like to chew on power cords. One day they'll zap themselves, but until then, Amazon's got my back and helps me replace the chewed up ones at a decent price.

The N24 tip for Dell laptops was not included with the charger package per product description, rendering it useless for me. Had to pay $5.99 for the same day shipping only to figure out the product is not compatible. Two stars because the tip can be ordered for free, but that doesn't compensate the a major inconvenience caused by inaccurate description.

After my Acer laptop's charger bit the dust, I bought the cheapest replacement I could find and quickly regretted it. For almost a year, I suffered from my computer's frantic "I've been unplugged" beep, as any movement in the room (e.g. the breathing of any living being) would destroy the incredibly precise alignment necessary for the charger to perform its singular function. I finally had enough and was about the buy a genuine Acer charger when I saw this offering. It's cheaper, charges reliably, and seems to be of solid construction. Despite having a little play in the socket, this works flawlessly on my Acer Aspire V3-472G.

My laptop charger that came with my dell ultrabook died after a couple of years so I bought this one to replace it. I was afriad of a new charger costing me 100+ but this was only ~35+ tax. It also comes with many connectors so it should be compatible with most laptops.The wires are covered with a thick plastic/rubber which was a problem for me in the past as the rubber would wear and tear and expose the wires. The connectors are a bit hard to swap out but I don't imagine you would need to swap them out frequently.

Doesn’t work for me. Connector fits fine but didn’t charge when I plugged in. Bought this as a spare and doesn’t work. Will try and return.
