🧩 Unleash Your Inner Wordsmith!
Product description A take-everywhere version of the classic crossword game! Features four different Scrabble games, 9 skill levels, a searchable dictionary with more than 100,000 words, built-in scorekeeper and letter shuffler! Includes 3 "AAA" batteries. .com This electronic handheld version of Scrabble, the classic word game, will help long train commutes or plane journeys pass more quickly. With four games to choose from (two that accommodate two players) and the ability to determine the computer's intelligence, the same game isn't likely to happen twice. Bad: when you raise the computer's IQ level, it uses words like "padri" and "Varna." Good: it accepts words like "vibrio" and "bize." Sound can be turned off, and, if not in use for more than a minute, the game goes to sleep to conserve the three AA batteries (included). --Pam Lauer

Unhappy customer
I purchased a new item for $90. The item arrived in its original packaging so it is technically “now” however the packaging is damaged and tinted yellow. The item looks like something purchased at a yard sale for $2 not a $90 new item. Very unsatisfied.

So good they won’t make any more of them! Too good!
Great Grandma Gloria LOVES this little obsolete scrabble game. Its sad they don’t make it anymore, but what are you gonna do? I guess get Great-grandma an app that does the same thing in 10,000 colors and pixels?NOPE. Gotta get you one of these on the internet or at a garage sale or Mee-ma wont be happy, and we dont want that, do we?!—BTW Amazon, yes, this game console is a great “thickness”, and is super easy to “read”, whatever that means.—Brent.

Scrabble on The Go Anyone?
This was purchased as a gift for my mom who loves to play Scrabble and wants to keep her brain sharp. Pluses for the game are it is well constructed, the screen displays well and is easy to see and it allows for either single player or two player modes.Cons for the game for me were the price. The love of a parent is what made me purchase this otherwise I would have passed at a price point of $93 the seller may want to keep in mind that most buyers have mobile phones with access to apps that are less expensive. One minor con and this was just a personal one was that the device when received did not work. A 30 minute drive to my mom's house and a quick swap of the installed batteries and it was up and running. Never a good experience when a customer or the person being gifted has a non working device. Perhaps consider a quick test of the device before it leaves the warehouse.

Good beach toy
I just took this thing on a beach vacation and had a great time with it. I would recomment it to anyone who is a fan of scrabble. I'm such a nut I was actually considering buying an iPaq just to play scrabble. There are a couple of downsides1. There are multiple games, but I think there is only one worth playing.2. The computer can be really slow.3. The letters aren't really random4. Some of the words the computer uses don't show up in my scrabble dictionary. All said, just buy it. It's fun to play while you tan.

Entertainment for hours
My mom loves it!

Worthless
it is limited use and not easily operable. The batteries were dead when received and there is a significant delay before the entries appear on the screen. Worst investment of $89 I ever made. Worthless.

Think it over!
I really, really wanted a handheld scrabble game, so I took a chance on this even though I had suspicions. This game is really dated and obsolete; really-really. It is small with no background light; hard to read and hard to manipulate. It is not exactly a scrabble game, but a variation of it. It comes unboxed with no instructions. This was probably made in the 80's or 90's. It did come quickly, and well packaged; and it was in good condition. But I do not think you will be happy with it. This is something like you might find at a flea market.
