My wife loves Sushi! we both do, but since the birth of our son who is now 2 its been a little hard to go out..So I planed a date night watched some videos on how to make sushi and then looked up what I needed.this by far from my hunting online, both on amazon and everywhere else, I even drove to a STORE! that's right... I went off line.... !!but I came back to here because it was the best combo and price!the chop sticks where a little rough but I smoothed them out and put a little food safe oil on them and they turned out awesome I cant get picky about that because the price is to good.So if you are planning a sushi date night go for it! ( I got double xp wife points this! ) ;)

I have not used this product yet because it is a birthday gift to my son. Everything looks fine except that the package was a bit ripped. This normally wouldn’t matter if it were not a gift. :)

Learning how to make sushi rolls so this review are with my early tries. Kit matches worked out perfect. I wrapped them up in freezer size zip lock bags and off to the races I went. I was able to make the rolls well. In fact - the missus and counsin joined in the fun too. No problem with mats. It’s nice the kit came with two so we can zoom through the sushi roll making process faster with two of us. Kit came with a small wooden spoon to help make sushi rice when I pour the sweet rice vinegar. There was also a spreading knife which I didn’t use but could come in handy if you don’t want to get your hands sticky with rice. Overall - kit was perfect for my needs. Only used a few times so can’t speak about durability.

Christmas present that was fun & easy to use

I wasn't looking to spend very much on sushi mats, so I didn't have very high hopes for the quality of this. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice of a set this is. The chopsticks are the standout though, neat twisty design, and nice feel to them. Definitely not cheapo restaurant ones! The mats are not as nice, but once they are wrapped in clear wrap I think they will work just fine. Nice bamboo tools to work with the rice and sushi. Overall very happy and was very reasonable for how much we will use them.

The one thing I liked was that everything came just the way it looks and that it works great. I think it should include a beginners manual on how to us it.

This is a very nice product. The items came in excellent condition. I especially liked having multiple chop sticks for guests or just reserves. I have already used my kit and everything came out better than I anticipated because I am a beginner sushi maker. Hints: Watch a few YouTube videos to get your technique down. Instead of wrapping my bamboo rollers in plastic wrap I just inserted them into a gallon ziplock bag (also seen on you tube).

This set is a true deal. With this set purchased for $5.99, 2 cups of cooked rice and couple slices of sushi grade fish, you can literally make 3-4 restaurant quality rolls at home. It is really unbelievable how easy it was to roll nori loaded with fish and other condiments.Also the chop sticks and rice spoon/spatula are dishwasher safe (at least I put them into my dishwasher and had no issues).

Bought for a present, hubbie loves it and has used it successfully today to make his first sushi. Good quality product.

Looked good but as it was a present I really can’t say anymore other than that the recipient was very pleased.
