Joint Supplement for Dogs - Powder, Collagen Plus Biotin and Amino Acids for Canine Coat, Skin, Nail, Joint, Hip, and Digestion Support (8 Ounce Jar)

This is my first jar of this product. Our veterinarian recommended that I add Biotin to our dog's diet. She had a really rough start and as a result her nails are in poor condition and she has premature arthritis. She is currently receiving rehab in the form of acupuncture and laser and exercise in a water tank. That combined with a good diet has improved her greatly. I'm hoping this product will be one more part of her rehabilitation. She likes the flavor and seems pain free and happy.

It is expensive (although compared to the Vet it is cheap) But I sometimes I try to NOT give it to my Doberman. Unfortunately she will start to hold up her front leg and hobble again, after a few weeks of not giving to her (I have done it several times, with the same result.) I have been using this for a year or more.I still can't believe it works for her (I wish I could find something that worked for ME.)I guess, I will have to just keep on giving it to her and feel okay with the cost, since it is working for her.

I have been giving this to my dogs for a couple of years. My older dog (Staffordshire) was given a new lease on life. He has had terrible allergies and a recurring skin condition. His joint health, skin, and coat have all greatly improved. My vet asked what they were taking because they are so healthy. I use Custom Collagen for human consumption as well and was thrilled to find their product for dogs.

Works great, but my dogs seem to lick a lot after I give it to them, it must stick to their mouths

Dog didn’t seem to like the flavor and it smelled weird.

Our dog took to this without hesitation and after a couple of months of use we have noticed a welcome return of playfulness and physical activity.

Cannot believe the difference in our 12 year old. Acting like she was when 3, running, jumping and a smile on her face.

Did not realize there was no type 2 in this product which is what is needed for joint health. Not sure why it advertises joint health when it’s only type 1 & 3 collagen. I should have read closer before ordering. 1&3 are for hair skin and nails and not for joint health.
