Works for us, simple and easy to use
Not much to say. The blades came plenty sharp and the tool is easy to hold. You'd think every nail trimmer would follow the same design philosophy, but I wouldn't have purchased these if my previous nail trimmers worked well.Other nail trimmers tend to have bulky rubber grips that have an unwieldly shape, or they have a floppy spring, or a loose fit on the cutting element. These trimmers don't suffer any of those issues. One minor complaint is that it's very easy to cut yourself on the corners of the blade if you're holding your pet's foot to work on it. Working on my smaller dog, I poked myself a couple of times, and drew blood. I don't see why those corners are so sharp, it feels like they should have been rounded out.Overall I don't have real complaints. Decent value for the money.

Very nicely engineered, costs a smidge more than other units, but worth it for my dog's comfort!
Very nicely engineered, costs a smidge more than other units, but worth it for my dog's comfort! Works very well, nice and solid, was able to do my old dogs nails without him getting all cranky! I do recoomend this clipper.

They are the best nail trimmers!
I'd had a pair for 30 yrs.. Knocked them from counter to tile floor & blade came out so thought they were unusable. Tried another brand from WalMart but did not like them. I have 5 kitties so treated myself to a new pair. I did find out when looking online that they have a replacement tool & blade that you can buy.

She's still afraid of the clippers
Our dog is still afraid of the clippers, but I think she always will be since she just never likes it when we handle her feet. Cuts quickly and cleanly, but can slip just a bit without being noticable - until you nick the quick. Probably would be easier to use on white nails, just like evey other clipper available.

Good
I use this to clip my dogs nails at home. They are very simple and easy to use. Takes me like 30 seconds to do all his nails. It does leave the nails a little rough so I bought a file as well to smooth them out so he doesn't scratch people on accident.

Great for LEFT-HANDED people!
To a left-handed person, it seems like everything is made for righties. This is particularly true for scissors (including claw-clippers). When using right-handed implements with your left hand, you can't see where the actual cut is going to be. Lefties will know exactly what I mean. What's great about these clippers is that they're ambidextrous, capable of being used by either hand. I can clearly see where to clip my cats's claws. They still fight like crazy when it's time to clip, but at least now I can do them quickly and more easily.

Worse than the plier-style clippers for my 50 lb dog!
I used to work as a vet tech, and have clipped a lot of dog nails over the years. I chose these clippers based on the positive reviews because I have always felt the plier-type clippers caused some pain and cracking during the squeezing process. Well, these may work well on smaller dogs, but they definitely did NOT work well on my 50 lb lab mix. She's really not that large a dog, but trying to cut her nails with these was torture for both of us! She put up with the clipping, but flinched almost every time I tried to cut, and the job took at least twice as long as usual and looked horrible. The blade would start to cut like it should, but as I squeezed, the resistance of her nails caused a gap to appear between the two surfaces, resulting in a rough, incomplete cut. It was like cutting with a pair of scissors whose blades don't meet up. I could not get them to make a single straight, clean cut! And believe me, I tried cutting from every different angle and position I could think of. I was SURE there must be a way to use them successfully... When I was finally done (translation: gave up), she practically RAN away from me! :( I won't cut her nails again until I find a better option. Oh, and the rubber grips on the handles are useless; they're loose and just slide around while you cut. Maybe my dog just has exceptionally hard nails, but I doubt it. Sorry, Resco: these are NOT suitable for large dogs.

I love how easy to use and makes a really clean cut! No pulling or tugging on dogs paw.

Easy to use and great quality
I have a large German Shepherd, who does not love, but also does not hate having her toenails done. My previous nail clipper was the kind that you hold to the side and it was a real struggle to cut her nails and often could only get the very tips of them cut, but these clippers are game changer so easy to use and did all four paws quickly in one sitting

Sehr empfehlenswert.
