Dont think, just buy them
Based on past experience, i never thought that i would like a set of Bluetooth headphones, or headphones with fancy features like inline mics, or even headphone that didnt do anything other than plug in and play sounds.Of course, Klipsch has a way of upending those expectations. Before my first pair of Klipsch earbuds, i didnt think id ever find a pair that fit my ears comfortably, then i tried out a set of R3's and since then, ive not bought another brand. This set was a similar watershed moment.First, Klipsch has a reputation for sound quality, and these certainly live up to it, Bluetooth and all. The high and mediums are all nice and crisp, and the bass is just punchy enough to be satisfying without being overpowering. I went into these fully expecting a loss in audio quality thanks to the wireless connection, but to my extreme surprise the audio quality is just as good, if not better, than my sets of wired earbuds. As another plus, ive had problems in the fast with inline headphone remotes causing imbalance in the audio levels from left to right. Again, a non-problem with these. You can tell that audio quality was the first priority with these, it really does show.Of course, going for audio quality didnt mean that they dropped the ball anywhere else. The build quality on these leaves nothing to leave desired, at least not at this point. The earbuds themselves retain the ovate shape Klipsch is known for, so theyre incredibly comfortable to wear for however long you care to. If youve used any of the other Klipsch earbuds, theres no surprise to these. Ill admit to being leery of the idea of the neckband, not having used a headset like these before it struck me as likely being cumbersome or uncomfortable. Not so with these! The neckband portion is surprisingly light, to the point where you can very easily forget youre wearing it. The band itself fits my average sized neck perfectly (5'8", 180# frame), however larger or smaller people MIGHT have a slight issue wearing these as the band portion itself is fairly rigid. The neckband also has all the controls you need for a set of bluetooth headphones, volume control, a pause button and a power button, all laid out with plenty of room and all large and well embossed enough that they can be manipulated without any trouble. Battery life has so far been excellent, 7 hours of near-constant playback with no issues so far, i have no issues believing the 18 claimed hours of battery life. Pairing is simple and quick as well, and ive not had a problem pairing these with a bluetooth capable phone, tablet and windows 10 laptop, all with the same phenomenal sound quality. In all, these headphones have been as much of a game-changer for me as Klipsch's wired options, only now im untetherd to whatever device im playing from, a huge plus in my opinion. Same comfort, same quality, and ive been pleasantly surprised at every turn for theseUpdate 08/03/2019After a years worth of use, i find myself having to take a star off my review for long-term quality. Now, dont get me wrong, the battery life is still excellent, the sound quality is mindblowing, and the connection is as stable as you could want, but the headset itself hasnt really stood up. The rubber jacket covering the buttons on the headband has nearly completely peeled up on mine, which also has the effect of making the buttons near impossible to press. I cant fault the headphones overly much, theyve seen some pretty heavy use. 12-14 hour days, 5 or more days a week, walking outside for several miles in all weather, working a construction-ish job. Were these corded they wouldve been lucky to last 3 months before failing, so the fact that theyve made it a year is nothing shy of a miracle.Still a fantastic product, but i cant help but be a bit bummed about pieces peeling up. Feels like that even if that happened, the buttons should still be able to work consistently

Good sound, comfortable, but wires too long and bulky
First off, OMG this is huge!!! Here’s a photo of it next to my Samsung Level that I was thinking of switching from. I love the Level’s for sound and comfort but they have been breaking on me after 6mos to a year. I wear them EVERYWHERE, work, gym etc. LOVE the vibrating neck feature! So I thought the Klipsch would be a nice upgrade and maybe help with some longevity I’m looking for.So yeah, its HUGE. Not sure I can handle it. I’m a girl so I would prefer something a little more dainty. AND I already get made fun of at work for wearing my Levels everywhere. This will be SUPER noticeable. Also, it doesn’t seem to want to charge with any cord but the one it came with. Odd since it’s the same microusb as everything else. But the status light will NOT light up unless its using the cord it came with.Kinda cool that you can switch the vibrating for phone calls on and off – for say if you’re in a meeting – cause yeah that happens to me. It’s a bit distracting especially if I have a necklace on haha. Also would help with saving battery. I’m hoping its on…. It doesn’t say in the book which way is on and its also not labeled on the switch. I’m hoping the on is the side closer to the vibration image????One thing I will miss- the power switch on the levels. The Klipsch has you long press on the power button. I liked the certainty of the switch and not the “did I press the button long enough” feeling.Sound is really not as good as my Samsung Level…. Just not as full in my opinion. It has bass but still sounds a little more tinny. I agree with the review saying you should use an EQapp… I might try that.I really don’t like how long the earbuds hang down – they get caught on my keyboard when I get up if I don’t have them in my ears. My Levels are magnetic and so they cling to each other up at my collar bone. It would be great if these were magnetic and would stick to the bottom of the band and not hang down by my bellybutton. (seriously see the picture)I tried the earbuds it came with, then I tried the smallest ones. I usually have trouble on these kind of earbuds. I like the Samsung style where it sits in the main ear hole and not in the actual canal.Bluetooth range is very good – as good as my Levels.I’m rating comfort at excellent. I really liked the comfort! I have trouble with these styles normally. I tried the med that came on them and they were a little too big – would have hurt after a long time wearing. The small ones were perfect! The only downside with the comfort is that to make them comfortable you make enough room for a ton of sound to come in other than music. I couldn’t focus at work and putting these in didn’t help since I could still hear the conversations around me.The main reason I’m returning is because when I get in the car – it switches like it should – but then I cannot get it back on. My Level’s switch right back at the press of a button, but these wouldn’t do it. It’s the same after not using them for a few minutes. Standby mode doesn’t turn back on too. I can’t keep reconnecting them during the day. My Levels turn right back on if not used for a while and i don't miss calls. I also can hear a lot more of people at work so that didnt work out for me either. Sticking with my Samsung Levels!
