this doesn't vibrate it's entire length, it only vibrates in the middle third,, about 1 foot by 1 foot, so it's really phony like so many others. very flexible and padded except the giant bulky vibrator motors. between wich the vibrating action occurs. be careful not get the motors in the sore spot you're trying to massage. should be cushioned more. very annoying and brief run time for auto shutoff of the vibration.Velcro straps are like inductrial stiff and will ball up if you don't figure out a way to stow themthey have hard, stiff hook the entire length of the straps, which is the entire length of the pad which will ball up and cause hard, abrasive lumps to lay on when not in use. straps are WAY topo Long and have WAY too much hook material on them. Then the only chose to stow the straps is to attach it aon the loop on the pad, which requires putting 180 twists in the straps befofre securing them to the loo[ because the hook side is on the wrong side for attaching to itself.Once all that is taken care of, this pad works pretty good except for then it will shut off in about 20 minutes and you have to find the controller and unplug it and plug it back in to recycle the viibration. And I looked and it doesn't say a darn thing about that.But unlike the reviews here, I do not think it is loud at all and I think the vibration is just about right for massaging. At first I thought it was too fast and too weak, but when it shuts off all of a sudden, I sure miss it and want it back on and can tell the good it was doing. At first I, too thought the heat was weak, but changed my mind. I'ts just about right for having only one setting.

I liked the reasonably pricing (in comparison to other heating pads). The size is good bc it gives full back support &comfortable to wear ( I could go without the velcro straps on the back though). The heat is sufficient enough but I'd prefer it be hotter than what it goes. I like it super hot. It only has an on or off function whereas the massage function is high or low (the massage function is reminiscent of a massage with knuckles if that makes sense little bit too "knuckley" for me). My only true complaint is that I purchased this heat/massage pad in February (maybe beginning/mid of month) and as of a few days ago, the massage function STOPPED working! Now I don't use it often as i have another pad but haven't ever left it running while not being used. That is an issue to me bc I don't feel like I've gotten my money's worth with the massage function but the heat still works thankfully. But when both functions worked correctly I was pleased with product.

Looking for something to use on a variety of painful spots but not all at once, or in the same way? This is perfect. It is a little stiff and there could be less Velcro, but it has a timed cut off and can be moved from knee to hip to shoulder - use heat only, use vibrator only - 2 speeds, or use both at either speed vibrator. Vibrator only can be used with ice packs - to reduce inflammation. I like it.

This was a great value. It is very simple, 2 settings for massage and on/off for heat. Works perfectly fine and I use it often. The reason for the slightly lower star rating is that the 2 ‘massagers’ embedded in it are sort of like laying on a couple golf balls. It took a a few min to get it positioned so that they weren’t digging into my back. Overall tho, it’s a solid purchase.

Just got this in today, gave it a whirl. Great product, we shall see how I wears through use. I did notice though that it did not come like the one pictured. Where the picture shows the velcro around the shorter sides it's on the longer sides, which I think is better anyway for wrapping around yourself.The massage portion is great, not too noisy or rattly either.The heat only has one setting. It gets nice a toasty, bit for those who don't want high heat or need to adjust lower just know, it's one setting.Overall a decent product at a decent price!

I've bought this model many times (5-7). One worked great for about 6 months, and one died on day 2. I was very disappointed. I have nerve damage in my back and use it every morning (sitting up with it against my back) to get my pain under control before going to work. There just aren't enough choices out there. I think I've tried them all.

i cannot imagine anyone finding something they disliked about this product. it woud have be a bargain at three times the price. i would like to see the list price on this item greatly increased. in showing it to my friends they have all raved about what a find this is and how they wish someone would give them one, two or three of the same product. directions for managing returns were explicit and easy to fully understand. if it came in larger sizes that would be a real plus. this has to become the number one purchased product in this category by all who view it. i am delighted to rate this item and sincerely thank amazon for the opportunity to say all the nice things about the product5 in hopes that everyone runs out and buys it.

This is an ok heating pad. It only has one temp setting and two vibration settings. I liked the fact that it came with straps for ease of keeping it wrapped around an arm or leg, however the straps are bit too short if an adult wants to wrap and keep it fixed around the back. It would work ok for children.The other thing I was looking for was a heat with vibration. This one has vibration available in two small box areas toward the ends of the pad, but not throughout the pad as hoped for.It's ok, but not totally awesome in any way.

I used this product a few times and it is extremely loud. I have used other massagers of this brand before and this is the first one that gets extremely loud to the point of getting a headache.

Great for my back injury. Really makes a difference.
