Burt's Bees Eye Makeup Remover Pads, 35 Count (Package May Vary)

I reviewed this product on another site, but then they stopped carrying it. (Sad face.) So, luckily, I found it on Amazon for the same price. I love love love it! I have sensitivity issues with every other brand and type of eye makeup remover I've ever tried. This one is the best so far. It does not irritate my eyes, at all! It will remove even waterproof mascara, albeit with a little more rubbing than if it were not waterproof. To me, that is to be expected. It is not greasy and does not leave a film. I hope Burt's Bees will continue making these and that I can keep buying them online.

worked really well compared to my regular makeup wipes but you kinda have to scrub a little. if it gets in your eyes , it doesn’t burn at all unless is the product you’re trying to remove that got in your eye

I am allergic to so many chemicals and environmental allergens its unreal. I've managed to find an array of cosmetics I'm able to wear through the years and until recently I've had to use coconut oil or oil of olay moisturizer to remove my cosmetics. I was amazed when I received these that not only were they actually sensitive skin/eyes friendly, but they actually remove make up well! No grinding the pads into my eyes, no having to use three pads on each eye to get the job done! One pad suffices to get all my eye make up off both eyes, although I use one per eye because I don't want to rub anything gross from one eye to another. But if you're ok with that trust me when I say, one pad would do it! I haven't had an itchy eye in months (at least not from these)!

This is a great pad and larger in size than most. Remove makeup easily. The pads were a little dry at the top. I find this to true of all pads. I turn them upside down and helps distribute the solution. Too few pads for the money. So, great makeup remover pad, but too few in the jar for the money.

These were just so-so. They seemed like they could've been a little wetter. I normally buy Neutrogena eye makeup remover pads but thought I would try these because they were so much cheaper. But, after using them for a few days, I went back to the Neutrogena because I like them better. I will probably finish off this one package of them. They do work ok, just didn't like them as well as the Neutrogena. Will I buy them again in the future? Unsure. They are quite a bit cheaper....

I'm amazed at how so many self-proclaimed makeup "experts" in these reviews talk about smearing or rubbing the pads around their eyes. That is the last thing you want to with the skin in that area. Simply holding the pad down and applying very gentle pressure, without moving the pad, is the most effective way to remove even stubborn eye makeup. These pads are great - not irritating, not astringent, not rough, not greasy or slimy. One pad is enough for mascara and eyeliner on both eyes for my regular daily (light) eye makeup. I love the texture and scent. They're very pleasant and soft. The only pads I've tried that are both effective and gentle. No complaints, am thankful for such a nice product.

Great eye makeup remover pads. I use a primer, shadow, eyeliner and several coats of mascara. Takes a lot to remove all of it completely and these pads do the trick. After I remove all that makeup, I can then use a white washcloth to do my skin care routine without ruining my washcloths. The Burts Bee pads are not oily and are moist without being overly saturated. They have a very subtle pleasant scent. So they remove a large amount of eye makeup using just one pad, don't leave an oily mess on your face, have a light, refreshing scent and a great price! I just bought my 2nd of many makeup remover pads from Burts Bees.

I wanted to love these Burt's Bees Eye makeup remover pads but unfortunately, I don't. They are free of a lot of nasty ingredients that I don't want around my eyes but they don't do a great job of removing mascara and eyeliner. The pads are honeycomb shaped and fairly dry. They are not oily which is a plus. I don't like when my vision is blurry after using eye makeup remover but oil is what effectively removes most makeup. I had washable mascara and regular eyeliner on tonight and I felt like I had to scrub my eyes to get it off. After using one pad, front and back for each eye, I still had residue of makeup on my lashes and lash line. These would probably work OK for very light makeup like one coat of washable mascara but, for me, they take too long to do the job and I don't like to scrub and pull at my eye area. They are not completely ineffective by any means but they are just not effective enough for me.
