Otherwise good product marred by crackles and pops
The Bad News: The sound quality is terrible, full of crackles and loud pops. It doesn't happen 100% of the time, but more than enough to make it extremely annoying. I've tried pressing the buttons to change channels, but it makes no difference. I have the 5.8 GHz version, which in theory should be impervious to any WiFi interference. The Good News: There is no noticeable delay in the sound compared to my wired front speakers. Installation and setup were easy. I also appreciate the ability to feed the sending unit an amplified speaker input signal. This would have been the perfect wireless surround rear speaker kit if the sound had been clear.

WARNING: Turn OFF all power before connecting or disconnecting wires to the audio system.
It worked perfectly until one day I needed to disconnect it from the audio system. It still works, but because I didn't turn off everything before disconnecting and reconnecting, the left rear output of the audio system blew out - even though no signal was being sent out at the time. I had a duplicate OSD Nero system to confirm the problem.

Works fine after adding an amplifier
Numerous reviews said the output to the speakers was too soft. I had this issue as well and contacted OSD support. They got back to me after a few days and suggested I use an amplifier even though the description says I should not need one. The amplifier worked and all is well now. The support, while I did not like the answer, was fine and after adding an amp it sounds good. I gave it three stars only because it is not clear when an amp will and will not be needed. I may have bought a different one had this been clear since an amp set me back another $50.

Keep it away from your Wifi 2.4GHz access point and you should be good.
I had to pair it a couple times but it eventually connected. I'm only transmitting about 15 feet and it's pretty much line-of-sight so i can't speak to how far it'll reliably transmit. I was getting lots of pops and cracks until I disabled the 2.4GHz channel on my WiFi access point. Eventually I moved it about 5-6 ft away from the access point and turned 2.4GHz back on and I'm not hearing any pops anymore. We'll see... The volume control is sort of handy for quick and dirty adjustments to your rear speaker volume. Pretty damn cool product to avoid blasting a bunch of holes in the wall of a rental house.

So far there's no interference with the 5.8GHx band
I liked it. So far there's no interference with the 5.8GHx band.

Easy to connect
Works great! We moved into a new home and there was no way to run cables for the rear speakers so I bought this to try it out. We have had it up and running for about a week and it has done great so far. No noticeable lag and no interference from Wi-Fi even though the wireless router is about 3 feet away on the other side of the wall.

Did not work for me
I've had a surround sound system set up for years and used wireless for my subwoofer and it has worked great. A recent rearranging of things meant that I could no longer practically run a wire for my rear surround speakers. My current wireless setup for my sub was a single channel sub-only system so I needed a new one that could handle my surround speakers as well. This unit looked perfect. Thing that drew me to it were it's claimed 34 available wifi channels, to help avoid interference, and it's 100' line of sight range. My installation would be 25' with line of sight, should work great! Ultimately it was a nightmare. Setup was super easy, the units look great and are a good size. The indicators are clear enough to understand what is going on but I just couldn't get a wifi channel selected that didn't have some interference. The instructions say to press the M button on both devices at the same time (25' apart in my case) to change channels and avoid interference. You then wait 20 seconds or so for the devices to link up again and then I used the speaker setup/tuning white noise on my receiver to listen for the steadiness of the signal. After roping in members of my family to do this on three different occasions, taking roughly a minute per attempt, we could never find a 'channel' that didn't pop/breakup/fadeout/dropout within mere seconds. Additionally, the device gives no indication what 'channel' you are using. So does this procedure of pressing the M button on both devices dynamically select a channel that might work or are you cycling through the supposed 34 channels in order? We pressed the buttons (again simultaneously with two people 25' apart) 40+ times and never found a channel that worked, not even for a minute. I sent an email to OSD via the support address on their website asking how this channel changing really worked and for help avoiding interference. Over a week later no response at all. Hugely disappointing. I don't feel my house is super challenging for wifi interference. We have a single 2.4ghz wifi access point and we are in a detached single family home. We have some wifi overlap from our two closest neighbors but its nothing compared to what you might see in a townhouse, or condo/apartment situation. I'm returning this and simply cannot recommend it at all.
