For this size strap, these are better than the rest of the competition on Amazon. I returned two sets of straps from other Sellers because of light weight metal construction and "paper thin" straps. These straps have no fancy packaging or storage case, and no hype.... just plain good quality straps with robust ratchet hardware. The product item description says a 666 Lb working load; the Seller claims a 835 Lb working load; yet, according to the sewn on label on the straps I received, they are rated at 1000 lb working load. Who do you believe? From my perspective, these straps do look and feel way better than the 500Lb rated straps and are a decent investment. I know for sure that stronger rated straps in this size category are available elsewhere online if you are really fussy and know what you are looking; I purchased some higher rated straps than these and there were indeed differences in the strap... more than 50% thicker, a working load of 1100 Lb and a especially high breaking strength of 6,600 lb, however the hardware was visually similar if not identical. So the only good reason to track down better straps than these is for the wear and abrasion factor associated with a much thicker webbing; of course you will be paying a little more.

Initially, these seem like very well made, sturdy ratchet straps. I’m concerned that one is frayed right out of the shipping ziploc. Not very impressed with initial quality and shipping method. For the price, I expect a little more.

The ring on the strap works really well, it makes a loop around your cargo item. Also the strap material is narrow but seems to be doubly thick and very strong. Highly recommendable product, very useful and i plan on purchasing again in other sizes.

Well built, NOT like the harbor frieght type. The rathet end is too long, free end too short.
