ZOTAC ZBOX C Series CI325 Nano Fan-Less Mini PC Intel N3160 Quad-Core CPU Silent Performance Barebone System ZBOX-CI325NANO-U

Just got this today to do something with the parts from my laptop that just died and amazingly after putting my samsung ssd in and two Crucial 8gb ram chips in booted right up to my old windows setup. I thought i'd have to reinstall windows or different drivers or something but all I had to do was install windows updates. I was up and running in 5 minutes. I was surprised that the 16 gb of ram was recognized since the sheet says up to 8gb is the limit but it does work with 16 and it is also pretty quick with it being a celeron. Very happy with this pc so far!

I love this machine, but the BIOS does have an issue. I run FreeBSD with OPNSense and pfSense firewalls and this machine cannot reboot. If you reboot, the machine hangs and must be unplugged to reset it. Even holding the power down doesn't do it. I have a case open and if it is repaired I will update this to 5 stars. The WiFi/Bluetooth module and SD memory slot are not supported by OPNSense/pfSense, but it does exactly what I need for an amazing price. I really like this little machine and I hope they have a fix for it soon, but I can't use a machine that I can't reboot, especially in remote situations.Bummer, this must remain a 1 star review - ZOTAC support states that only Windows OSes will be supported by this hardware.P.S. There are two memory slots in this thing, but I believe it can only hold 8 GB of memory. Save a few bucks and get 2 x 4GB sicks vs 1 x 8GB.

Silent, and fast when I paired it with a solid state drive. Good value for the cost.

I bought 2 units, both were DOA -- I wasn't able to power them on after installing brand new RAM ( Crucial 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3L 1600 MT/s (PC3L-12800) SODIMM 204-Pin Memory - CT2KIT51264BF160B ) and SSD ( Samsung 850 EVO 250GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E250B/AM) ).I tried the same brand new RAM and SSD that I got for this unit, on an older Zotac ZBOX CI323 that I had and they both worked great there. Also tried to use the RAM and SSD from the CI323 unit on these CI325 units and it didn't work on either of them. If I took out the RAM and SSD then it powers on and give me repeated beeps (as I would expect since there isn't any RAM or SSD installed).Disappointed with these unit, although my CI323 has been running great for over year.

I had this up and running from August 1,2019 until today August 7, 2019. At 7 pm I went to turn it on again, but it will not power on. I checked the AC adapter with a voltmeter and it is supplying the rated 19V. I sent back another on a few weeks ago because it would not turn off. Do all of these Zotac mini computers mini pc's have power problems?

When i was unable to install FreeBSD for use as a firewall, I installed Ubuntu (onto a USB 3.0 flashdrive) and use it as a desktop system. It recognized my dual monitors and is performing well in the desktop well. Agree with others that a firmware upgrade to the BIOS is needed

The description is somewhat misleading. There is no hard drive or RAM so also no operating system.

got 2 defective units, and have returned both. Don't waste your time or your shipping $$$ have now spend more in shipping than product is worth.
