So Joe’s wife Karen knows about his affair. But does she know the full fall out of what will happen next.... not quite what I thought. Yes a burner phone that has messages on it but from whom and why? Lots of meeting up for coffee and chats and just why did Joe decide to end the affair, was it cause he thought he was going to get caught and it cost him dearly or was he just fed up of the double life he seemed to be leading?Also how on earth did the other woman manage to keep it all a secret? The car accident damage, the child’s missing item of clothing...Good but not as good or as pacey as The Pocket Wife but still enjoyed it. Lots of questions that got answered and suddenly it all becomes so clear looking back at it now.

brilliant follow up to 'the pocket wife', very twisty and although i thought I'd figured out who did it i was very wrong! highly recommend
