Will this work to make hole for 5 PC 20 ft in ground flag pole

Yes, it will work for any hole. You'll need it a bit deeper for your 20 ft pole than for my 8 ft fence posts.

Will a person of short stature find this comfortable to use?

I am 6’1” and I find them comfortable to use. They have cushion grip and are weighted just right to help penetrate the ground but not too heavy to cause operator fatigue. Without knowing your particular reach I cannot say how well they would fit your hands. You could possibly grab lower on the handles to start your post hole. They are well made

How wide is the opening
