I'm sure I'm not the only one who sighs in disappointment when they're about to return to a half eaten pack of digestives after awhile only to realise they have gone off and become a soft, stale mess.That scenario was what convinced me to buy this product.I was skeptical at first but imagine my surprise when I returned to a stack of oaties I have left in the chamber, after I have forgotten them for about two weeks, taking the first bite of the closest biscuit at the top and realising it was near enough as crisp and crunchy as the day after I opened the pack!Tested with some chocolate wafers that I know goes stale after a day; returning to them a week later and again, as crisp and fresh as you could want them.What a brilliant product and holds a charge like a champ. Charged it once when I got the product and still performs vacuum function 2 months later.Well recommended.

This vacuum jar is wonderful and additional unit purchases will only be a matter of time. Simply charge up the device using the supplied USB to USB-C cable (you'll need a suitable charger). When the Blue LED extinguishes the device is fully charged. Put in whatever you want to be kept fresh, put the lid on and hold down firmly and press and release the small power button. The motor will activate and pumps out the air and stops around 20 seconds later.To take contents out, press the small power button until the green light blinks once. Press and hold the large pressure release button and keep your finger on it whilst pulling off the lid. Take required contents. Replace the lid and hold firmly, then press and release the small power button. The jar wil reseal and the motor will stop after 20 seconds or so.This gadget really works exceedingly well and so far I have tried with Digestive biscuits and Fudge (not at the same time).Two criticisms. The glass jar is very thin and it wouldn't take much of a knock to break it. The supplied instruction manual is completely misleading and inaccurate.

This is a great little gadget. Simple to operate although the vacuum suction lid tends to operate by itself every now and then once it has been removed - it can suddenly start but this is easily fixed be pressing the 'OFF' button. The glass container is capacious but is made of quite thin glass so will need to be handled with a little care. The date dial on the lid is very small and difficult to see and all the instructions are in Chinese but it's pretty easy how to figure out how to use it Overall, a decent, no frills product.

Excellent item

Honestly I was fairly skeptical at first, but this does exactly what it advertises. It pulls a very healthy vacuum, enough to prevent you from forcing the lid off regardless of how much effort you put in. I like that the unit senses change in pressure and runs automatically to maintain it. Especially helpful as freshly roasted beans release Co2 over time.The glass vessel itself is sturdy, the silicone sleeve on the bottom of the vessel and the date wheel on the top is a nice touch.Charges to full fairly quickly over usb c and the unit holds charge for quite a long time, although that would vary depending on use.I wish I had gone for the largest model, as I buy kilo bags of coffee beans and I can fit somewhere between a third and a quarter of that in the container, apart from that I have nothing bad to say about this.

Just as the title says. The pump worked fine, the little red thing went down indicating that it had pumped all the air out.Next day the red thing is up. The vacuum went.Not fit for purpose.

Great for keeping coffee fresh

Item is straightforward for the majority to understand how it works but the manufacturer should have enclosed an operation leaflet in appropriate language or with better diagrams to cover sales in Europe and UK!
