A dull read
I love autobiographies, basically all I read, but I'm often amazed that the people who you think will be profoundly interesting, turn out to be crashing bores and the people who you think don't look particularly flashy, turn out to be wildly exciting humans. This sadly was the former, a narcissistic plod. I should have known that if you have starred in same soap opera for decades, your life will be pretty predictable but quite early on, I realised that she appears to be remarkably self centred . It was very much 'Me, me, me and did I tell you about me?'. I was hoping for some Hollywood name dropping, some titbits of gossip, some tales from the set, but it is just completely 'Miss Lucci's opinion and brushing over anything that might involve anyone else. There is even a chapter at the end called 'Five Things I like' and even her likes are dull! I'm halfway through. I know it's not going to pick up. But I might pick it up and hurl it to the back of the charity box.

Susan Lucci Memoir
I really enjoyed it. Found out things I didn't know about Susan. Well written and good pictures. Very interesting, especially if you are a fan of Erica Kane!
